Norton ES2 600cc Cafe Racer Build

This is a short collection of photos covering the 8 month build of my Norton ES2 600cc single. Huge thanks to my long time friend Steve for directing the build and his very patient wife Juliet for feeding us for the duration......

Nice job , if the motor is 600cc its a model 19 not a ES2 . what ever it is you have done a good job , have fun ! Best Wishes from Germany , Peter Williams.

Thanks Peter. It started life as an es2 350cc bottom end. Replaced the barrel and stroke to up the capacity to 600cc (approximately).

Often wondered why no clever person has not cast a primary chain cover to replace the tin thing on these Nortons? I'm sure it would look much better???

Replaced the primary chain with a belt. No oil leaks....its great
