Several years ago, there was a Norton Café Racer in the "Dream Bikes" section of the motorcycle show in DC; looks every bit as gorgeous now (it's stunning in person). Don't care for that California, though, especially the striping on it. Looks too much like a refugee from the '70's. Interesting touches on the Dominator, like the discoloration left in the frame tubes from the welds; don't think I've ever seen a factory job made to look like a one-off quite like that. That V4RR Carbon, though, is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen on two wheels! Best of luck to Norton and McGuinness at the TT!

Norton claim about 200bhp,which is about the benchmark now for the top drawer Litre Sportsbikes,what the extra 200cc gives is less stress for the Engine,being a new design it will need lots of real world miles accumulated to gauge its reliability.

I like the comment when you said how many have you sold-500, and how many have you delivered- none 😆!! Then you said, and people trust you with their money 😮look at the guy’s reaction. Its a bespoke Norton Engine developed in conjunction with Ricardo ( UK Engine specialists ).

went to their website. They sell used ones too. First off, for a new bike maker to already have used bikes makes me wonder why. And another thing. The asking price for one of their used crotch rockets is 29-30K USD. You can get a brand new Z14 AND a Jixxer for that much. Hell you can get a new mortgage glide with a 114 for that price. We'll see what they're like in five years - if they last that long.

Those commandos look great but the jugs are HUGE and the cooling fins look completely out of place on the bike. The engine was an intregral part of the bikes look. That 1200 carbon bike is awesome.

"Engine developed by ourselves..." really? I thought that the 1200 v4 was an Aprilia RSV4 motor adapted by Norton.....not a ground up Norton engine? That Norton V4 is a stunning looking bike. I hope for Norton's sake that the finish and reliability on the new bikes are better than their mk1 new commandos which reportedly were far from good...not what you expect at that price point. A chap local to me was reported to have had nowt but trouble with his....more time off the road than on it and some very poor detail work. I'd like to see Norton succceed so hopefully they have upped their game.

Conversation from 4.45 is interesting, Norton look so stupid "engine developed by us at Norton" no it wasn't, its designed and built by Aprilia as is much of the bike, just about every part is from someone else, and this is at the EICMA bike show, the other bike manufacturers (HONDA SUZUKI KAWASAKI BMW) reps must have laughing, if I found out them engine cases were just mock-ups and no internals I would not be surprised, the whole company has no substance and is all front,

Are you really asking me if I'm "A Real Bike Rider" because I accidentally mentioned brake lever instead of clutch lever (and split second after corrected myself)? Dude, I've been riding for 18 years, raced off-road, wrote for seven years for Israel's largest motorcycle magazine as senior road tester, crossed South America on a bike solo for 5 months etc...
