My friend, I think it may be in your hunting clubs best interests to have about 100 dow hunts a week for a month! I'm a disabled old man and live in Rincon Georgia and I'm a meat hunter, I'll be glad to thin the dow population for ya'll!

@@NortonOutdoors Hope my season does get better. Our hunting lease finally ran out and was sold off so now it will be all public land hunting for us. Its got outrageous now the price for club membership around here..anywhere from $750 at the lowest to over $1000 for some. Ain't gonna dwell on what's happened cause when one door closes another opens. Again Good luck Saturday morning and be safe this season.

Nice video.Looks like you have a DOE problem .we did too.We got it down to 2 doe to 1BUCK on a 1000 Acer's but we had that land for 25 years .in Monroe county GA.

I'm a fellow south ga deer hunter (from Cordele). I've never hunted on WMAs before and can't find a lot of info on it. Can you only deer hunt on a WMA if you apply for and are accepted for a quota hunt? Or can you go on a WMA without a quota?

Both. You just have to look in the regulations book. It lists the hunt dates for every WMA. Some have open hunts that anyone can hunt on. Check in / Bonus hunts anyone can hunt but the state will tag two deer.

Are you trophy hunting? If so, please say that at the beginning and stop wasting my time. I just spent 30 minutes watching this and say meet deer and and pt that was a shooter. All the ants, squirrels, owls and that hawk was nice footage but damn give me a happy ending.

The title of the video is South Georgia Deer Hunting, Not South Georgia Deer Killing. I don’t have the luxury of hunting a property you see wall hangers every time you go to the woods. I personally don’t consider either of those bucks a shooter. I also don’t think less of anyone who does. In the past I would have killed both of them in a heartbeat. People’s standards are different.
