Great video mate and for the life of me I can't understand how you don't have more subscribers (or views). I've watched the first video in the series, so now I'm invested to watch the next 4 this afternoon, given I'm currently in Austria and its -5 degrees after -15 overnight. Cheers.

Norway is beautiful, I was there in September and loved it! A little expensive for sure, but man was it worth it - drove from Svolvær to Å & back for part of trip and was definitely the highlight of the 2 weeks. Henningsvær & Reine in particular stood out, but man is EVERYTHING just so stunning!
@AndrewDawes5 жыл бұрын
Hey Isaak! I couldnt agree more mate. Expensive.... but so what! The place is amazing and worth every penny IMO. I wish we had that much time. We drone from Oslo to Senja, then back south in 2 weeks. So we got a real "highlights" tour to see what we want to focus on next time. Have you seen part 2? Its getting the ferry from Bobo to Lofoten. I cannot wait to return and Henningsvaer, i agree, a definite highlight of the trip. I think we were there in early October so we were pretty close.

So it begins. Bring in Norway! Nice cosy space you got there :) Happy New Years to the two of you :) I’d imagine you could put out a video every week for the whole year without having to film anything else? 2018 was a big one :)

It was a warm little capsule that’s for sure 😁 happy new year mate! For Ann and the kids too 👋 it’s exciting to start the Norway videos ! I think if I was to extend videos and draw it out I could do a whole year... but where is the fun in that 😏

Two very different parts of the world; India v Norway. Looking forward to lots of pics and video of Norway. That place is beautiful! Nice that you caught it during some of the fall color. So, traveling in confined conditions is much easier; when the other person is the one you normally sleep with. (Tasmania?). Just curious; what is the cost difference if you rented a camper van, like the one in Tasmania? Significant? Can't wait to see how this story unfolds as you chase those few moments of perfect light each day; all for that elusive landscape composition.
@AndrewDawes6 жыл бұрын
Hey Steve. To hire a van it was around double (if not more from memory). Because they dont really have those type of campers readily accessible from what we found. They had the larger camper vans with the fibreglass shells and the over cockpit beds etc. Old Bensin did alright though... just such a relief that I could lay down flat tbh! But we got an amazing price on the wagon... even the lady at the counter was shocked. She said this is what people usually pay for 2 days in the summer period.... and we had the car for 2 weeks! Youll see the same trend of bad weather unfold on the trip in Norway, and September is the wettest month in what is already the wettest country in the world... but I wanted to be there for the fall colour so kind of worth it IMO :)

Hey mate, really nice videos - which date where you on the lofoten? I planning going there this year so any tips or secret photo spots^^
@AndrewDawes5 жыл бұрын
Hey! We were on Lofoten in early October im pretty sure. I wish we could have spent more time. I dont think im the best for the secret spots (but I am planning on returning :D) but the roads, towns, and distances are all much smaller than you think. So dont think you need to rush around... there is heaps to see and its not very spread out. The weather was miserable for us, but if you can make sure you do some of the hikes to the tops of the mountains. The views are supposed to be next world! Have you seen part 2 video yet?
@Molybdan425 жыл бұрын
@@AndrewDawes Thx for the answer! We will be there in june, so hopefuly with better weather. Actually I watched the second part first and liked it enough to searched for the first part ;)

That should be nice... but Im guessing it will be busy too! Best of luck with the weather mate. Oh great that you found both. Some people are like "why call them part 1 and part 2 etc" well then if pplz find part 2... they know to look for part 1 if they liked it..... LIKE COME ON :D

In my honest opinion.... winter (January and feb) the snow is magical, less people, it’s cheaper, and there is auroras. There are down falls like potential road closures, it’s cold etc, but with it in my opinion

Weird that a creative would put their own flare and own choice of music on a vlog they created, rather than appeal to a minority audience 🤔🤦🏼♀️
