I feel you on that close quarter feeling. I'm not a very "peopley" person either. I can't stand crowded places.

Fascinating piece of history and geography, Chris. I believe there are many who would share your distaste for crowded, tight spaces. They're not pleasant for sure. Thank you for these very illustrative videos. Always a joy to tag along with you!

Love the scenery. Great videography. Wondering how long it took to construct those tunnels. That, Chris

Chris, you should probably carry a good quality flashlight with you, especially when you're spelunking. If you ever watch WWII History Hunter videos, the place you were at today looks very similar to a lot of the places he investigates. Great location and beautiful. 👍

Another good one! I was looking at all that stacked rock and wondered if the German soldiers built it or if they used prisoners of war to do it. Thanks again! 🤠🧑‍🦰🌲🎼

My thoughts exactly. I too don't like large crowds and thus I usually choose to go into places that aren't overcrowded. Therefore, I usually visit many places during early mornings while families are still eating their breakfast. 😏

Some did as they were told & others formed the resistance. I've watched Edge of Darkness a 1943 movie based on Norwegian resistance, here on KZbin. Wikipedia even has a Category of Norwegian resistance films: there are several, portraying the bravery of Norway's people.

Most Norwegians lived their lifes as normal. But some escaped to Sweden, others went further to England or Canada, where the Norwegian government formed armed forces (mostly commando groups and pilots). In Sweden did the government form police troops from about 1943, and in Norway was there several resistance groups all over. When peace came on the 8th of May did police troops and resistance take control over Norway in a few hours. For German soldiers was service in Norway considered pretty good. It was peaceful compared to other parts of Europe. Around 300000 german troops was stationed in Norway at the end of the war. They all turned down their weapons the moment peace came and it was a peaceful transition
