Wonderful video. How else would I know about the beauty of vistas such as these if not for people like yourselves. I paddle regularly in the sub tropical waters of Moreton Bay Queensland Australia. Board shorts and rash shirt most of the year. I'm amazed that anyone could even consider paddling in a Norwegian Winter. Well done, and thanks for the sensational images. Stay safe....Peter

Man! This is insanely amazing! I mean I can't believe to my eyes that you have only 34 subs and I have become the 35th which is my hometown's code btw :D but seriously you have amazing videos, I first came to Sarek, then discovered this and later the biking along silk road. This one had the most epic footage in my opinion and just loved it so commenting here. I wonder when have you done this and how have you shot those crazy shots on the kayak? I'd love to do such long kayaking trip one day especially along the Norwegian coast-fjords. Cheers!

Finlandiya Rehberim hey thank you 😊. We have done it in February this year so it's quite new. We shoot all the footage with a gopro, the dji drone and n old canon dslr straight on the trip. The weather and the waves where sometimes challenging especially for the tele shoots. But at the end we made it work. Thank you for your support. We are planning our next project at the moment. Thank you I'm glad to hear that you like what we are doing. Traveling with the kayak wasn't too bad since its a folding kayak. So we just took a plane from Germany to Tromsø. With all the equipment its still heavy but manageable​.

The Kayaks did perform great. No issues with that even when we has contact on rough rocks. We are still using them today.

Wondering how you deal with the short daylight you must have had. How many hours a day could you paddle? And you must have spend a lot of time in a dark tent, how did that go?

At that time sun rises around 6:30am and goes down around 7:30 pm also it takes another hour to get dark. So there is enough time to stay on the water and end the day with a bit of light.

Hey Jordy thank you for the compliments. I definitely would not recommend you to do it as your first trip. The weather can be quite different to what we had on our journey. And the sea might also be a bit more challenging. You should be prepared for that otherwise this could get really dangerous. Since the watertemperature is around 0 degree and the night gets around minus 15 degrees with high humidity. So you should know how to travel in such an environment and you should know how to do it with a kayak. But if you feel like you are ready im glad to help you with your preparations.

@@ExploreBorders I’ve done a lot of kayaking in France on wild rivers, but that’s about it. Dealing with the cold and doing such a long trip is completely new for me. If you think it’s a bad idea then I won’t do it, since I assume you know what I would be dealing with

@@jordyvandeven3954 It is not easy to judge your skills from a distance. But if you feel comfortable with high winds and a moderate sea with sub zero temperatur. This tour is certainly a great experience. But certainly don’t do it alone. Just in case shit gets serious. ;)

kévin k. Its simular but with different materials. I choosed a stronger Materiel to not worry about damage. But of course at the cost of weight. All in all I really like this kayak a specially for that price point.

rene naja das Problem hatten wir auch wir haben es mit Whisky versucht. Aber die Flasche hält bei 2 Personen leider auch keine 2 Wochen. Aber man kann sich ja auch immer mal ein 8€ Bier in der Kneipe gönnen wenn man mal an einer Stadt vorbeikommt. ;) Ansonsten bleibt halt nur noch die Bewegung übrig um warm zu werden.

ja das ist auch nicht schlecht hätte ich mit getrunken . Ich sehe ihr seit Genießer. Mal ne frage wie habt ihr das mit Wasser gemacht zum Trinken und wie habt ihr die Faltboot wieder aus einander bekommen. Die waren doch bestimmt tiefgefroren.

rene wasser haben wir in einem wasser sack aufbewahrt und unter den sitz des bootes verstaut. Wir haben quasi drauf gesessen. Am Abend muste dann nur noch ein bisschen das Eis aufgebrochen werden und wir konnten es relativ gut zum kochen verwenden. Die trinkblasen auf dem Rücken waren vom ersten an nutzlos da durchgefroren. Die Faltboote haben keine Probleme gemacht denn das Material nimmt kein Wasser auf. Es hatte sich zwar über die Zeit eine gut 2cm Eisschicht auf dem Boot gebildet aber die konnte man recht leicht abtragen.
