If Finland would think like Russia they would've already invaded the rest of Scandinavia. Btw. I think Sweden has more workforce than that 7:56

I met some youngsters from Sweden in Costa (Spain) and we had good times. I'm 45 and these "lads" were like 23+-. They were fcing rock solid. I had no beef with them. If they are weak. So are we.. Then.. I do not spot weakness in our neighbors.. I looked at the lads at the eyes.. You know.. Strenght and honour I found (and a lot of hmm.. well.. Fuengirola :) Our lads. Proud of them.

Sweden has a population of 10.5 million people. You are telling me only 55,560 of those people work? The real number is 5,199.000, for the year 2023, according to official Swedish statistics.

1:21 0 reserve military in Norway? You're *way* off... We have a conscription system just like Finland... The military can call in anyone between the age of 19 and 44 to serve for 575 days (equivalent to 19 months). Usually they serve 12-18 months, then they're called in again at any time between those ages for the remaining time, for exercises etc. People who has been employed by the military as professionals can be called in till they're 55. About 15% of everyone turning 19 each year are actually called in to serve, but closer to 100% in the northernmost part of Norway. Both men and women are called in, but more men then women end up being required to serve. (Fitness, strength, willingness to serve etc is all considered, and the military is somewhat picky, except in northern Norway where they want more people with familiar with the local terrain trained in case of invasion, and because if we *are* invaded that part of the population is likely the part we won't be able to train after the fact as that area probably will be invaded and raken pretty quickly...) 2:52 Okey, that's weird, Sweden has the biggest air force of all of us, so how come they have the fewest air force personel? Like, I get that they don't need as many for their Gripen as we need for our F35... But still? 3:19 So a F35 or q F16 doesn't qualify as a fighter?

Unless you have 900,000 reservists, it's not exactly like Finland, is it?
@podsmagnus82144 ай бұрын
@@henriikkak2091 Same SYSTEM, not same amount of reserves. Was that really too hard to understand for you?
@RockerFinland4 ай бұрын
Do you understand the concept of the reserve? It means the people who have already compelted their military service and are still fit (ready for war immediately). If you haven't completed your military service and be ready for war with your full skillset - You are not a reservist - Then you're just part of the "available manpower" and that is totally different concept.
@Niko-zu7mj4 ай бұрын
Oh, you have the same conscription model as us? Where did you serve then? The conscription model means you are in active military duty (and after you're finished, you're an expert of your own branch and part of the reserve).
@Habilis7153 ай бұрын
In finland you have to go to the training at certain age even if it isn't war in norway there is not such a system. I will go into reserve training in 3 years after high school

@@petter5721 Then you include CB90 and G-class landing craft, wich can hardly be called ships, butt rather boats. If you look at the number for Norway, the maker of the video clearly has not included the CB90 in Norway's numbers. So the numbers are not accurate

@@iprocomparison1732 Ok, well I guess one always runs the risk of numbers not all being accurate, and we from a specific country might know more of just that country. Maybe there is a secondary source to cross reference from, presentation is good, just off on numbers. Keep at it!
