Norwegian Breakaway... Cruise Food!!!

One of the great things about cruising is trying all of the amazing food!! In this video, we will show you all of our dining experiences for the week onboard the Norwegian Breakaway. Some are included in the cruise fare like our favorite daily spot of O'Sheehan's Irish Pub, the always yummy Garden Cafe, The Manhattan Room, Taste & Savor main dining rooms and room service. We also tried some of the specialty dinings at an extra cost such as Le Bistro, La Cucina and Moderno. Let us know what you have thought of the food with NCL.

I want to go on a cruise so bad just for the food. The idea to eat so many types of food that I dont have to cook myself or have a mountain of dishes afterward is an absolute dream!!!. My husband and I got on breakaway in LA the day u guys got off.😜 Our first Cruise and we were celebrating our honeymoon (1.5 years late.lol). Hubby wasn't a fan of the buffet but we enjoyed the grilled shrimp,Indian food and ice cream. We ate at taste, savor and the pub alot. Had some great cocktails and wine. The service was excellent every place we ate. Our room steward was AWESOME. but never really had too friendly of service w the bar staff.. kind of disappointing seeing as if we speant alot of time there. Hehehe. Fun to see the ship and food again... Good memories.

@@EECCTravels Last Princess cruise my hubster and I took I had my first try of a desert called Floating Island. Oh as in Oh my God....... Literally heaven on earth ! We are going on a Princess cruise down to the Baja Sea of Cortez in Feb 2021, (hopefully !), and I plan on ordering 2 of them - I will have to wear my expando waist band skirt as it is always served on formal night ! I'm going on Royal Caribbean Vision of The Seas January 12. I hope the food options are comparable to Norwegian because this video has a great variety and I would never get bored of the options available to me.

The Vision was my very first cruise ship, back in 2001 - She is a much, much, smaller ship than the Breakaway and does not have as many dining options. That being said, we absolutely loved the food (we've never had a bad meal on any Royal Caribbean ship) - she offers a much more intimate sailing experience than her fleet's larger sisters, and her size allows her to get into ports that can't accommodate the mega ships. Don't board expecting them to be similar, but embrace the experience that she does offer. I'd sail on her in a heartbeat again! Have a fantastic time!!

We traveled Disney (fantasy) twice and cruised Norwegian (escape) last fall. We LOVED Norwegians food! I just wish they played more movies in the theatre and also we enjoy watching movies in our room and they didn’t offer very many free channels.. had to pay for movies.

NYC Pizza is the BEST in the U.S.---where we're from, we are second best (the Jersey Shore). Why? Because a lot of the New Yorker's come down to the shore and open pizzerias; I don't think they're as good as NYC though ;-)

There are lots of food options and I noticed many vegetarian (I know not completely the same) but I wasn't looking very closely so I am sure there are more than I realized. Let the cruise line know you have a special dietary need and they will help you out.

I was just commenting on another cruise vlog that I see tons of vloggers raving about Guys burgers and Shaqs chicken. I wondered whatever happened to prime rib, lobster, filet mignon in the MDR. If I pay hundreds if not thousands for a cruise I don't want food I make at home. I want fantastic rich extravagant food I don't eat on a regular basis. That prime rib makes me happy just looking at it. Fish and chips??? Girl what were you thinking?
