Finally caught up now I'm back from Vegas and a great series, had a bit of everything. While unfortunate Day Two was great because it shows you the pitfalls of cruising, it's never certain at times. I'm keen to get back over to Norway again soon, beautiful country. Your cinematography is on point mate, I know there's a lot of effort going behind it but the transitions are fantastic. Also the drone footage was top notch, really added to the Vlog especially when you're in those vast and deep expanses. The Proud Mary though...what a pub 🤩

As a typical idiot myself, I would have pronounced Gamle like camel, too, but probably because it’s close to gamble, which is never too far out of mind. Enjoyed your droning on. (I know, tired play on words.) Wonderful footage from the usual eye-level shots. And always good to see a happy Claire. Christmas decs galore! Glad you both had a great time. Looking forward to the next trip. Haven’t been to Tahoe in years. Would go up for the casinos but since the Native American places opened up between here and there, haven’t made that mountain drive. But it is beautiful up there. Roads should be clear of snow in September (but these days, seems you never know about weather). Fingers crossed we don’t have a severe fire season. Thanks for the vlogs. Best to you both!

Hi N&C - the port looks so wonderful and so quaint! 🏡 Absolutely LOVING the drone shots - that has to be one of the best investments you've EVER made - such incredible video shots. 🌤The houses are so close together in Stavanger. The streets are so narrow that you don't have to worry about any cars on them. The Proud Mary Pub was so cool - loved the music and no wonder the beer/ale went right to your head - it was huge! 🍺 There were so many to choose from, did they give you some samples before you made your choice? Of course Clare got her Christmas ornament - she was a woman on a mission! 😂 Wish the casino had been better for you. Thanks again for the wonderful vlog - we can't wait for September. Another great trip/vlog series. Loved every one of the videos. What ship you gonna be on for you Alaska cruise next year? As I mentioned we are in the NCL Encore this October. I will be sure to post all my videos in my channel for you to check out. Can’t wait for your trip to Tahoe. Been there twice. Beautiful place. We are actually doing Vegas for 4 days after our Alaska Cruise. Can’t fly to the main land from Hawaii without a stop in Vegas. 😊

Did you need to get a certificate to fly your drone in Norway? I have a FAA Part 107 certificate. Would that be an equivalent? BTW, Nice drone work! I enjoy seeing what you do and makes me look forward to capturing my own shots. Thanks!

Yes I have a CAA norway license, its quite a simple process if i remember rightly, as its only a 250 gram drone. Not expensive either.
