Sharon, Many thanks for pointing out that there are two large drawers under the sofa so you can store clothes. I find that when there are two single ladies in one room you need the extra clothes storage.

We were on Joy, first time, in June, balcony room. Did not receive toiletries. We've asked for items in refrigerator to be removed and were told to take them out and leave them on counter. No don't want them in my area!

If you are referring to the outdoor balcony divider, no you cannot open it. Only indoor access.
