Thank you both for showing us Iceland what a beautiful country. I loved the waterfalls and I must say that Iceland now is on my list of places to go. Simply beautiful.

I’ve been watching your videos for about a year now. I’m debating whether to say this, and I HOPE you will take it as the compliment I intend. When I started watching, it was really Jay’s show, with his big personality and sense of humor, and Dee seemed kind of reserved and withdrawn. That has really changed and you have totally blossomed, Dee! You seem to be enjoying being on camera so much more, and its such a pleasure watching you! Your show has become an even two-gander with you both contributing so much! I really appreciate you guys and love your stuff!

We were on Jewel of the Seas and our tour took us to the same places on May 15th but the difference was it was snowing 🌨️. Our photos look like black and white photos. What a difference a couple of days make. We enjoyed every minute.

My sister and I met you on that Prima cruise. Our time on Akureyri was extended by 18 days. I was taken off the ship and hospitalized for two emergency surgeries. The view from my hospital room was of the cruise ship pier.

Hi Dee and Jay. We really enjoy your videos. Akureyri is a port we will be visiting and found this video very helpful in helping us to decide what we would like to do while visiting. I understood that you used Saga Travel for a 6 hour tour, but would you be kind enough to share the exact name of the tour with us. The tour you took is the one we want to book but they offer a few and I’m not sure of the name. Thank you for sharing all your videos.

Thankee! It should be the Lake Myvatn tour listed under their Shore Excursions section: sagatravel.is/sta020c-lake-myvatn-classic-from-akureyri-port/

Just a quick question. The very first waterfall that you went to is it salt water or fresh water? Thanks guys. Hope y'all enjoyed your trips. Thanks for taking us with you.
@parodeejay Жыл бұрын
As far as we know, they’re all fed by glaciers or snow, so they should be fresh!! :D

I enjoyed your video Thanks. The day before our departure we are staying overnight in Reykjavik then check out at 8AM the ff day for our flight. If we stay overnight what time are we expected to come back in the ship cause we would like to do a long excursion like the Golden Circel and be able to bathe in Blue Lagoon. I would expect that it will still be bright in the evening in May. Again thanks for the tips. How do you like Saga Travel?

Highly recommend a free KZbin viewing of the 1990s Irish comedy “Father Ted.” He was banished to Craggy Island for gambling with charity funds. Craggy Island is craggy but not as craggy as that lava.

heard snipes on your snipe hunt in Iceland. Also, may have missed this but where did the team name of Skal originate?
@parodeejay Жыл бұрын
Our understanding is that "skál" is Icelandic for "cheers" like when you're toasting someone or something, so we just ran with that, ha ha!! :P

As a frequent cruiser out of Florida, I'm sure that you both are very familiar with the smell of sulfur from our wells that water our lawns. Despite that, I was laughing so hard when you two went down wind of the smoking sulfur dioxide deposits with Jay cracking that "he smells like he broke wind!" That was so funny! Great vlog.
@parodeejay Жыл бұрын
Ahh, we aren't from Florida, so we aren't familiar! I guess we're not around the smell of the water all that often. That sure was a smelly place though, ha ha!! :P
