Really appreiciate your videos, down to the fact information, the fact that you take time to say these are your opinions and what you have tried and tested, which i find a lot of others dont, generalizing and making it seem as though everyone thinks the same. Keep up the great work!

Just found you channel and wanted to compliment you on the quality of your videos, very well done! I hunt all over N. America, The Caribbean, S. Africa for all types of game using standard caliber and big bore airguns. I generally do my own filming, so appreciate the effort you put into it. I lived in Europe for over a decade and did both research projects and worked in Trondheim, got to fish and hike, but never hunted there. Beautiful landscapes, great people and good memories...... keep it up!

Hey, fellow Norwegian hammock camper here! This video is great :D I especially liked that you gave suggestions to natural alternatives in case the gear fails. Seeing the reindeer hide made me nostalgic; I'm from up north, and as a child, I have been on Easter snow mobile trips where we slept on reindeer hides inside of a lavvo on the mountain platou. It's some of the best family memories I've got.

Comprehensive video Martin. I must agree with you. There's no point in being uncomfortable when you are out. You can always practice bushcraft whilst you're out there and I find I don't feel pressure to get things right first time. So it's the best of both worlds. Just to let you know that dd hammocks have now got a 5m x 5m tarp.

I think your views and opinions are very sound. Many people seem to think that the only way is a bushcraft kind of purism. I don’t judge them as every opinion and experience is subjective. I do agree with your philosophy of leaving no traces, and sometimes I find on my short adventures “traces” of people in the woods, old shelters and the such. Thank you for sharing your views. By the way I have followed you since your first video and you have lost a lot of weight, and you have grown more comfortable in front of the camera. Cheers from CT in the US, by way of Argentina.

I really enjoyed your thorough, thougtful presentation. Your English is excellent, even in the context of the generally high standard I've encountered in most Nordic people. It's certainly far better than my Swedish, or Norwegian, for that matter. When you use "doorstep," however, I believe the term that would have a more meaningful impact is "threshold."

Martin, good to "see" you again. You bring up a really good point early in this vid. Bushcraft versus Camping. It dawned on me that I more often go camping than bush crafting. I want to "practice" bush crafting, but I camp to do so. That is brilliant on your part, to recognize the difference between the two. But I do want an easy, safe, comfortable camp; and then I practice for not having that gear with me. What would I do if....

Had to watch it over a view sessions due to its length. Perhaps breaking it into sections and releasing them over a fewweeks would have been better for subscribers who look forward to your videos like me. An encyclopedia-like overview of the current options, especially useful to those new to the woods. Well done technically and systematically!

Mye å lære for folk her.
