Well done to Chris for his score prediction. As for VAR, I think Chris is right; it's the way it's being implemented that is causing problems. I think it should be there as a last resort if the match officials need it. VAR overruling the referee's decisions is unhelpful. Not that this will make you feel any better but I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs fans have been angry at VAR decisions in previous games. An enjoyable video, thanks lads, and Jen.

It’s impossible for VAR to measure the exact moment that Vrancic connects with the ball. Therefore, impossible to make such a tight offside call. Anyone who thought this was going to be implemented well clearly forgot Mike Riley is in charge.

I have played the replay over frame by frame, at the exact point Mario struck the ball for the pass Teemu was in an onside position, no doubt about it, in my humble opinion it is in the FA's interest to keep the big six teams in the top six, it generates more income from the European games through world wide TV, cynical maybe but its all about lining the pockets

Not a Norwich fan but you guys play some good stuff, and particularly so in this game. Some really nice forward passing play, just undone by 2 set pieces. Pukki's goal should have been, well, a goal. The team definitely deserve more points than you're coming away with, just need to find a way to see out games.

For me, the worst thing about VAR (and it has many problems) is that it steals that moment of pure joy when your team has scored. A split-second glance at the ref - yes, he's given it! - and a scream of pleasure. Now, always, somewhere at the back of your mind is the question 'Will VAR take this away?' That instant of unadulterated joy is the reason we watch football. It's our reward for all the disappointments that go along with supporting a team. And the utter effing morons at the PL have stolen this from the fans. It's also stolen the opposite - the opponent to hate. The ref has just disallowed what seems to us a perfectly legitimate goal. We know he has parents, we know he is not part of a woman's anatomy, we know that he didn't disallow our goal because he had bet on us to lose on a Ukrainian gambling site, we know that he's a human being trying to do his best who has made a bad mistake. But, for the rest of the match, he can serve as our figure of hate so that we can let out our rage. Now we have a hidden, Wizard of Oz behind the curtain figure and nowhere to direct our anger. 'The Invisible Ones have decreed their decision. Computer say no. We have the technology. Resistance is futile.' VAR is flattening the pleasure and the anger from watching football and not even delivering fairness and good decisions in return. It should be dumped immediately. But it won't, because sports administrators never ever admit they are wrong and the people they tend to represent the least are the fans.

I think var should be measured from the tips of players feet rather than any body point. That would be work and you could measure consistently.

Crystal Palace fan here and as a neutral I want to express my opinion on Christoph's half-time thoughts - although I'm also painfully disgusted by the VAR utilization as it ruined a very beautiful goal scored by Max Meyer against Southampton. I don't believe that the decisions are in favor of well-known players. If you saw on Boxing Day, Kane scored a goal against the Br*ghton scum only to be given as offside. If it wasn't for VAR it would have been awarded. That you have perpetually been unhappy about VAR doesn't necessarily mean that big teams are given an advantage (except for Liverpool but let's not discuss it here). As far as the game on Thursday is concerned, I wish you good luck but we truly need all three points for the sake of avoiding any kind of relegation scrap. I firmly believe that Palace is a better team than Norwich but in football you never know.

We must be one of the best teams to be stuck at the bottom of a premier league table, we've been decent in every game since Man United at home, we're just missing those marginal gains. We really do have the potential to beat any team between now and the end of the season, more so than the other bottom teams, we play 'better' football.

One the dumbest things about VAR is that offsides are ruled from the underarms of players. Why not just keep it simple and measure the closest body part of each player to the by-line of the opposing team? Also in this day and age of ultra high definition tv, super slow motion and other methods of photographic technology why is the FA content in using images and video in zoomed in potato mode to make judgements with operators who are fumbling there way through the process of the imaging technology meanwhile MILLIONS sit and wait watching some nub draw lines on an ms paint like system. A far cry from the replays and presentation we are used to by the broadcasting studios, the FA is still stuck in 2005.

The first game I watched at Carrow road ? Oh yeh Arsenal beat us 4-0.Alan Ball played that day and a program just 7p!Arsenal had previously won the double league and cup.Don't think they have left top flight football since.Had many interesting years watching Norwich going up and down and the 1985 cup final ,nice trip to Wembley, we won hurrah.Some great local derby's as well.Football has entertained me for years,it has changed with the times.The premier league has gone global, sold to millions around the world.It's money alright, but without it football would not survive.We are where we are and it is what it is.
