It would be quicker to listen and type out a script manually. I'll give it another go in ten years time when it's ready for the end user.

If the creator supported smaller models of Whisper CPP, it would be faster.

It already is faster. Took one year, not ten. Using the CUDA version on a 4090, used it last night and it does video to text transcripts much faster - a 4 minute video was transcribed in one minute.
