Nose or mouth BREATH ?

A hot topic: nose or mouth breath for brass instruments?
Inspiration from my old master BART VAN LIER who gave some useful insights into this issue.
I've come to my own conclusions over the years. Hope it helps.

I've always breathed in (3 beats) through the nose then 1 beat through the mouth before playing the start of a passage. I find that to be the best. I can be breathing in (3 beats through the nose) while I'm picking up my trombone from its stand and lifting it up to my mouth. As for 'resonating it through the head', I've always done that, so it's good to hear an accomplished trombonist like yourself talk about it! (I'm just a beginner trombonist)
