I also figured out one way the movie could've been improved, at least from a moral point of view: it should've featured a completely different ship. Not the Titanic. Okay I hate to tell you this but I actually watched the original clip from the original Titanic movie and apparently there is one scene that shows a group of rats running down the hallway. Let's throw logic at this POS just because I noticed some other things to criticize: 1912 the horror happened....mice live a few years to maybe a decade...but for cartoon's sake, let's assume mice age like humans (see the anus scum of a sequel to this on longevity). So Connors Mouse and his 1-minute wife-to-be would've been in their 20s or late teens given their youthfulness. Per this movie's description of being in modern day (the movie was made in 1999), the grandparent mice would be nearing 100 years old or older...did they actually sip that stupid elixir of life? AUGHHH! And now just because: Ship protocol for kids is boring and stupid. Joe is a pervert and creeper and Elizabeth needs a restraining order. So dolphins can fly? Must be wizards from Seawarts or something stupid. Sharks are from Slytherin. Bad guys talk to sharks because of plot convenience. Elizabeth is now Cinderella. No mice were killed chewing on electric wires...darn. Icy cold waters might threaten the lives of sharks, dolphins, and octopus (although certain species can live in cold waters but I doubt the writers thought much on that) Titanic was about whales like Star Trek was about Barney sing along songs. But the effects were decent.... Tentacolino was also done by Bobsheaux and as I saw his before the Critic's, I'd reccomend you watch that at some point. That is its own variety of "take a drink."
