That e.t. was eclipsed this past weekend (video to come), but those two cars are considered the Outlaw Nitro Nostalgia Funny Cars and differ from the NHRA Heritage Series NFC class rules. Mainly fuel pump size. There is a contingent of racers that currently conform to the NHRA series rules that may lobby to run that larger pump in 2018 for the another series, especially to help stave off parts attrition and put on a better show. Stay tuned.

The throttle stuck at the hit. Mike fought to unwedge it with his foot. Pegged at 10k RPM for nearly 300'. Incredible that it didn't hurt anything. They came back and ran the 5.58 in the second round.
