Great review (and poses)! The purple stuff is worms. In the original Mirage comics, Shredder was killed. The foot resurrected him with worms(and had three failed attempts with the disfigured clones).

Haven't opened this yet, so I'm a little surprised by the lack of useful articulation, but it's hard to argue with the price point for the amount of plastic you get. I haven't read the comics either, but this & Zog were my 2 most anticipated releases for Haulathon. Even felt the need to pick up Mutant Claw Shredder to go with them. 😅

Haha. Claw Shredder is a good addition to the set. Zog is incredible and I feel he is a much better value with what he comes with and how big he is

@Nostalgia Unboxed yeah for only $13ish over the normal figures Zog is a great value! But for only $3-4 more bucks, this clone set is pretty outstanding as well.

Honestly I’m loving the mirage line. I’ve gotten every single release since they reintroduced the line. Besides the lootcrate stuff. Even went back and got some KO turtles since I have no set control. The goop is actually space worms which the clones are made of

I have been loving the Mirage line. I tapped outta Toon and dove straight into Mirage/Ronin to make up for it (not sure thats a good or bad thing) I missed out on Claw Shredder and OG 4pack Shredder. Wish they would re-release a single pack OG Shredder in red cuz that 4 pack is pricey on the internet. Bummer on the articulation but great review and vid regardless

I found your channel because of the game show, price is right type of game you did with the Mad Hatter. You have a fun and interesting style. So I looked up a few of your videos and here I am in your comments section... commenting. You shall acquire a new subscriber once I finish the comment. Ok, onto this video review specifically... I've not opened my figure yet (or the Claw Shredder), but the appeal of these figures goes beyond the limited articulation, it's about the story and the characters. If you have not read the original Mirage comics, I strongly suggest you do. The Ultimate Collection volumes are great (I chose the black and white... don't want those odly colored versions), and contain commentary from both Peter Laird and Keven Eastman. The storyline arc with these Shredder Clones is one of my favorites, if not favorite part of the Mirage era. Posing them with Zog and the Turtles will be cool... if I ever get around to that.

yyyeeaaaa....... Notorious for that, Neca figures need to be heated up. Once it is. Then the articulation comes out. They go great with any villain montages. At least you liked some of the figure. ❤ And yes😂... the shoulder spikes came off. Put it aside,, lol. Jst more articulation on the head. Lol.

Yea it did. Because of the "helmet". But its ok. I think it's better. Because I knew these NECA have stiff joints. Needs some shock oil. I have a heat gun. So I heat them up a tiny bit as I play......... I mean pose them....... lol. But they are ok figures.
