This makes me just remember being a little kid back in 2012 when I’d play for hours and hours on end. I never got bored. I built all sorts of stuff. And then I got older and the younger kids started playing it and I started to drift away from this beautiful game. I’m very glad I started playing again a couple years ago. And I’m especially glad that this game isn’t considered “cringe” anymore.

I remember the old Minecraft, my twin brother introduced me to the game It was 2011 and it was on the Xbox 360. We started in our tutorial world I was sitting with my mother who was watching us play, with a blanket that was blue and had yellow stars. I was a noob and could barley build. My brother helped me and I looked through the Steve skins and skin pack 1. It had a queen skin and I was a girl and I really wanted to be a girl in game. Me and my brother built our little box hut and we stayed away from mobs. I would always get stuck in 3rd person and my brother would help me. We always had fun while eating snacks. We even tried to get our grandma to play 😅. Everything was fun and so were the updates. But now I wish they never updated. I want to go back. I don’t want to be a teen, I want to be a child and play this game! I want to go back! I wish it never changed... the friends I made are gone. I might never hear from them again. *Last online 7 years ago* update april 30th 2022: i just read that after almost 3 years and sorry idk why i was so dramatic at the end 😭

I remember my first time ever playing minecraft. it was sometime around my birthday and my grandmother had read something in the newspaper saying minecraft helped kids experiment and use their creativity. She talked with my mother for some time, and eventually they came to the conclusion that the game was worth getting, so, they got it. The first time i ever opened up the game, ( i had no previous experience with first person games ) i spent almost an hour just trying to figure out how to move. After a while and a look at the keybindings, i found WASD, and i started playing. I remember i couldn't figure out how to build, so i just slowly made a trail through a forest (it was just a really long hole in the ground) up until i got to a clearing with a mountain surrounding it on one side and the forest on the other. There, after a while i figured out how to build my first house. It was very simple, just a square with a flat roof, but for some reason i put stairs under the main blocks of it, which is something i still think about for some reason. Fast forward a few months and i was playing a ton of minecraft. Just about everyday i would get on my grandmothers old laptop and build something, and after a week or so i found stampycat. I loved his videos. I used to watch him all the time. i remember stuff with iballisticsquid like race to the moon, the holy grail, and others like the cave den, lovely world, and sky den. I loved doing all this, however, my parents didnt. They weren't a big fan of me spending all my time watching stuff and playing minecraft, so they started trying to cut me back from it. That and the on going feud between my parents and my grandparents caused us to move away from the house i had spent most of my childhood in. This along with how my academic life and social life were going plus the fact that i had grown up a lot, caused me to stop playing and move on to other games like Overwatch, Bo3, and eventually, TF2. Its been almost 3 years since then, and things are looking up for me. My parents have bought a house, I've figured out how to actually do well in school, i have a good bunch of friends, and i'm still enjoying videogames. I rarely play minecraft anymore, not because its a bad game but just because its changed so much, although i still look back at my time playing it as some of the best time I've had and in the end, i'm just happy i have those memories.

My coach once said after winning a championship game “This is something they can never take away from you” I now realize he wasn’t just talking about the win but also the memories made doing something you love. @@tealwashablemarker8886 Thank you for asking, but unfortunately it has only gotten worse in terms of personal matters, I've run into quite some obstacles since I posted my original comment and due to recent events I've become a frequent drinker, stress eater and a smoker. Thought the cigarette addiction talk was all fake but damn you can get addicted easily and fast. Worst part about it is that I hate every second of it. On top of that it feels like all my friends are kinda leaving me in the dust since they've all gotten girlfriends which doesn't really help either

@@PheenX Friend, I'm so sorry to hear all this. I could go on all day about how things get better and you just have to keep pushing, but thats probably what you've heard a thousand times. I promise you there are people who love you and want you to succeed. There's no magic words I can tell you that'll convince you to stop drinking and smoking so much, you already know how self-destructive these habits are. I strongly recommend you to reach out to friends and try spending more time with them, yeah they all have girlfriends but I'm sure they miss it when it was just the boys. Reddit has so many communities for people trying to quit habits, you're not alone and don't think for a second that there aren't other people with the same hardships. I know you could do it, all you need to do is not shut yourself in. Peace.

@@jessefriaz2175 Thank you so very much man. It's not every day I hear words like yours. And yes you're completely right, I have heard that a couple times. But I've made a promise to myself. I'm going to stop drinking, smoking, etc. Once I find something that makes me happy. Whether it's gonna be a hobby, a job, something I've always wanted like my dream car or even a girlfriend. I am aware that I do these things because my life in general is a bit tough right now, but I know that it won't be tough forever. I think it's just a test that life has given me, much like the ones I've had before. And I've learned from them. I know what I should and shouldn't say in certain situations, I know what I should and shouldn't do, hell I even have an idea of what kind of women to stay away from haha. There's a saying in the country I come from and I've been trying to live by it. Roughly translated it means: a donkey never hits its head on the same rock/obstacle twice. I miss that thing that you used to be able to do with Minecraft mobile, where, as long as you were on the same WiFi, you could play with your friends. My middle school had a tech Friday, where we would all bring in our like, third generation iPod touches with Minecraft on them, and join one of our worlds, and just, play together. This was before they even added hunger in the game. The only use for food was to heal, and it was before enchantment on mobile. I miss how exciting everything was the first time. I don’t think I’ll ever feel that excitement again. Not in a bad way, mind you, but it’s just that no emotions compare to the ones you feel as a kid, because that’s the first time you feel them. It was a day in 2012, I came back home from school. My brother introduced me to this game called Minecraft, he taught me the controls. I remember at first I was roleplaying in creative mode it was the good old days. Later on I played survival for the first time, I wondered why I had hearts, my brother told me that I should avoid taking damage. I remember swimming in rivers, I would always play on peaceful because I was afraid of monsters. I remember watching minecraft on youtube a lot, I watched danTDM, popularMMOs, and stampy. I also remember watching modded minecraft. As a gullible little kid, of course I would believe everything they did. And I tried building the aether portal and tried crafting emerald tools and of course, it didn't work. I was disappointed. I one time accidentally went into my brother's world and killed in in lava accidentally. My brother got mad and banned me from his worlds. I one time remember he played minecraft multiplayer with his friends, he made very cool builds. Later on my mom accidentally (or on purposely) deleted minecraft. I never played minecraft until I got it back in 2020, Minecraft made my childhood. Thank you minecraft, your game is part of my childhood, thank you for all the memories you gave us. Also thank you all the youtubers who made my childhood the way it is. And thank you for reading.

Looking back at this brings back all the memories and nostalgia. I first played Minecraft with an open mind to survive, playing on pocket edition on a giant tablet, and mining all the iron, and working together with my friends to build new, challenging ideas. I thought some of the updates were great (except for the new ore textures). But life updated. I grew older and matured. I don't want to. I want to be the same reckless, joyful child of energy, scavenging the caves for diamonds.

I remember as a kid, my 2 brother's and I had an Xbox 360, and we would play Minecraft on it, but we loved the tutorial world the most. I was so young I had no idea how to complete it, no idea how to read the instructions, only to find my older brother already in the castle, teasing me about no coming in, my little brother and I were stuck together, always. Sometimes we'd get in and we'd have fun together, other times we would run away from creepers and endermans that we looked in the eye for fun. Or fish in the small pond and get nothing out of it except memories. Sadly 6 years ago my mum and dad decided to get rid of the Xbox and my brothers and I have never played much ever since. My little brother won't play Minecraft unless it is on the Xbox because he only liked the Xbox and my older brother is locked in his rooms, swearing and gaming with his friends. Whenever I try to come in he'd yell at me or tell me to piss off because his friends were in the room. I'm going to try to save up for an Xbox for Christmas, hopefully I will get one, not sure. I'm glad I few up with Minecraft and not fortnite, screaming at others isn't fun, it's screaming for your life while being chased by a skeleton with no sprint is fun. In conclusion, play Minecraft and never grow up. /Jk Always have fun.

It was 2011. I was 4 years old. My sister, 7, showed me a game on my dad’s phone. I played it. It was Minecraft PE Lite. I would build houses. Not good ones, but, they were houses. Then they added zombies. The only thing I would build were 2 block high brick boxes (no roof, just 2 blocks) with brick blocks on the inside to step up on top of the walls. I would use these to shoot the zombies. I never stopped playing. Even when Minecraft started to become considered “uncool” or “cringy”, I still played, just in secret. Then it became more popular. My greatest fear is that online, since my YT channel isn’t exactly aimed toward gaming (though I did have a gaming channel at one point) that I might want to make a Minecraft video. But making a Minecraft video isn’t what I’m afraid of. What I’m afraid of is that people will ridicule me and say I’m not a gamer and call me names. Just thinking about that makes me shatter. That they’ll see that most of my videos aren’t Minecraft, and assume I’m a noob. Just doing it all for fame. Just doing it to get subscribers. That I’m not a true gamer. Which isn’t true. I’ve played Minecraft for 8 years. 8 YEARS. From PE Lite, to PE, to Xbox 360, and PC. My evolution through the game. I have played Minecraft. I play Minecraft. I never left its side. I am not a noob. And just because I do animations instead of gaming on my channel does not make me any less than a gamer. Minecraft has been in my life for 2/3 of it. Though I was, unfortunately, born too late to fully enjoy the nostalgia kick of 2019, I still can. Because I did play Minecraft. I was 4 years old. Now, though I may look like a noob, I am not a noob. I love Minecraft. Sincerely, a proud Minecraft gamer.

I am guessing you are ten years old because 4 divided by 2/3 is 4 x 3/2, since you have to do the reciprocal in fraction division, and 4 x 3/2 is 6. I got the 2/3 from when you said you have been playing my minecraft for 2/3 of your life. I got the 4 from you being four years old when playing Minecraft pe lite. You still have a 1/3 of your life. I remember first getting it on my ps3, me and my little sis we’re so excited!! We played like the noobs we were a made memories. We built a house on a mountain. It was one of the best houses EVER! Like there was carpet, three basements, a sunset view the whole. Nine. Yards. Then I got older. Depression started kicking in. Life was a drag. Now, these sound remind me of a time were I was genuinely happy. I didn’t worry about the little stuff. Little did ik my life was gonna go downhill from there. Now I’m here. Almost in tears because this audio makes me want to turn back time and stay 5 forever. The devil got me young. I was so broken down by my environment that I couldn’t handle it, plus I was a child. I'm 30 late to minecraft probably been playing mostly the last year. The music is amazing so relaxing 😌 At the moment ive just learnt how to enchant items I have a helmet with a few awesome enchantments and I can now swim longer underwater and omg when the music starts while swimming under water is absolutely relaxing. Finding treasures in pirate ships at the bottom of the sea is so fun. At the moment I came across an underwater pyramid but when I get close something pops on my screen and it stops me from mining blocks 😅 but I need the blocks from this pyramid for my luck of the sea so I can build underwater. If anyone has any advice be great 👍 😊

I remember when i was in like either 3rd or 4th grade and when i first played it on the xbox 360 and was a noob especially in creative mode i always accidently made myself fly and didn't know how to descend and so i thought it was a glitch so i made several worlds and i learned how probably in a few weeks. I remember my first castle I built that was made of nether bricks however everything was off centered but i didn't cared then i played some survival and it was fun I remember livin in the tutorial castle and when was in 5th grade I got my first minecraft book it was the combat book and my second one was the redstone after reading those books i gotten a little better I learned how to build a little better but most of all i got to play with my siblings on there aswell which is what i missed the most back then we were just so young and innocent not a care in the world and I always watched Dantdm doing mod showcases. I wish i could go back and not be in highschool right now.

This gonna start crying but I remember back in 2019 me and my sister were playing Minecraft together,she had cancer and well she would live until 2020 16 august she passed away and that would be the last time I got to laugh and play with her,I miss her although she was never nice to me lol she was a great sister

I remember learning that zombies burned in light when Minecraft was early on (There was no creative yet) and I built an elaborate plan too trap and kill zombies. I just covered a house in torches to make the zombies think I was in there (I was in a glass house like 20 blocks away) then the zombies would get close and burn. It didn’t work and I was upset for the rest of the night.

I remember that first night like it was yesterday I remember dreaming about Minecraft on the Xbox 360 years later I still have that Minecraft Xbox 360 edition still in the disk space I one time loaded up the Xbox 360 and looked at all the old worlds I play it was so nostalgic I also opened up my laptop old worlds back in 2015 because that’s when I got it for the laptop but my dad had a pc so I had some Minecraft worlds from 2013 too

I remember.. Playing minecraft with my older sister.. I was so scared of zombies , we loved to go in caves together , and I was really scared when she told me to get wood at night.. One day My phone didn't download Minecraft. It didn't let me to download it. Since that day on We stopped playing together. But. Wish me luck , she might be coming over tommorow and I will try to get those memories back , and play with her , again.

I got Minecraft when I was five just because my mom's friends were talking about how their kids loved it so my mom got me it and an Xbox 360 slim and my first world was that tutorial level with the castle and the house in the back swamp area. Sadly I no longer have that Xbox and I bought another Xbox 360 and put my memory card in the new ine and for some reason it automatically uninstalled so my storage of 200 something worlds is all gone including my first one. Im sad because my cousins would build town together and my older cousin would troll me and trap me in places until I got mad and cried. Also my first minecraft house was a little 4x7 dirt hut, my last house I built in Minecraft about 2 months ago was a colonial era farm house
