Hi Becky, I just watched nostalgic decorating 2 and 3. I am LOVING it. All of the red,green,gold and tinsel with colored lights,makes me all fuzzy and warm inside. This reminds me of the way my Mom decorated. David is Soooooo Talented! The fireplace surround is Extraordinary!!!! That is a beautiful gift for you,you will truly have fun decorating it for each season! You,he,and your family will also create so many memories gathered around it.I Just Love our fireplace,it brings such a cozy feel to a home. You can even run it in the summertime w/o heat,for ambiance! I can’t wait to watch episode 4! Love Ya❤️

My daughter calls me squirrel all the time. Lol! I do have ADHD though. You are doing a great job brining the nostalgia in for Christmas. I used to do home interior parties and sometimes I would take up orders. I loved getting discounts to get home decor. I miss it! I wish we still had things like that. The little centerpiece on your coffee table is adorable. Your fireplace mantel is going to be gorgeous. I can't wait to see it finished. ❤🎅❤🤶💖🎄

Hi Becky, I love watching you decorate for Christmas you are doing such a great job! And you make me laugh, especially when you said the olden days in the 1900s I was like wow I feel so old LOL. When I was a kid my mom and my aunt would refer to the olden days as the dinosaur days I think us kids believed they lived with the dinosaurs LOL

I will never forget when I started seeing Home Interiors at yard sales and thrift stores. It was so upsetting because I had worked so hard to get all these beautiful pieces and then they went out of style.

I love it all, Becky! The mantle pic turned out so beautiful! I love your nativity set. And I agree, you need a lil' somethin'-somethin' to pull the nativity together with the garland. Maybe a pretty mauvey-pink bow or picks in the garland. Or some red berries down around the nativity to bring the red down. I'm sure you'll come up with something much better than my suggestions, but you will get there 😂. I can't wait for part 2. It's all turning out amazing! Thank you for sharing! ❤

I mix all the colors. Probably not as conducive to the nostalgic Christmas but I collect homes ( canisters teapots what have you) and they are up all year round and I just add my Christmas house canisters in amongst them. So all colors are just fine with my cottage look for me. But Im not Becky and this is her home her vision love to see how her vision comes together😊 Love seeing others create and home keep never gets old TFS Becky Tell me again you wear scrubs @mylittlevintagehome what do you do? I am a "do everything" person at a cardiologist office. (not a nurse) I'm all self taught. Billing & Coding, Intake, Minor testing like EKG's and PFT's, scheduler, prior authorization coordinator, anything that needs to be done I do it. We have a small practice with one physician so it's not as overwhelming as it seems.

Wow, Becky, your “old mantel” turned out great! Just FYI, if you ever need to mod podge a picture again, put lots of mod podge on your board or canvas, let it dry, then iron your picture onto the backing. It works pretty great. On your tray under the deer & sleigh, if you have some batting for imitation “snow”, you could put some on the tray 🤷🏼‍♀️ I like the Santa pic over your cabinet❤

I don't know if you remember the big, dark oval Syrocco mirror that was a hostess gift. It had leaves and acorns on it. I used to have it, but gave it away because I only wanted real wood. I wish I had it again now. I would kick myself if I could reach that high.
