If you stumbled across this video you are either a channel regular who got curious or someone who stopped by, in both cases stop right here because this is the 3rd video I've ever made and it sucks lol

Man, it didn’t suck, it was great! Seriously, if you wrote down the script for a compilation of these videos, you could make a book out of this. I would definetly buy it.

For one of your first videos, i think it's actually really good. Great job!

Hey no, I don't think it sucks one bit!

What are you talking about? This video is so interesting! The beginning immediately captivated my interest and evoked feelings within the first minutes. You underlined your thoughts so well, it's like reading a good book. The only thing that I thought should be improved is leaving some short breaks in between to process everything, a few minor pauses. But you're already doing that in your newer videos. Every thought here fit well into the rest of the video and the way you put them into words and your style of talking makes the whole video just entertaining. Sure you've progressed and gotten better since this video, but I wouldn't downplay this in the least!

im so glad that people nowadays are trying to make videos on feelings ive had brewing in me for so long with no way to describe them. thank you so much

Constraints certainly inspire creativity, especially during times when computing was limited. To see such an older style of horror games be embraced is satisfying, as even something like the camera is utilized in a modern horror game.

My point exactly, I love seeing the older style embraced in modern video games

Minecraft as childhood. I'm getting old, save me

Ppl calling Minecraft their "childhood" makes me feel older. I was in my 1st year in college when I discovered Minecraft (2009). Back then, it was considered "retro-style" by peers. Some classmates thought I was playing an old obscure Java game.

i can't wait for the future when there will be content like this for 2015 - 2019 (when i was a kid) it's fun to see this old nostalgic things and horror nostalgia but it's just a few years too early... but that means that pretty soon, maybe even this year, they will be making videos like this but for 2017
@Cresendex Жыл бұрын
I have no doubt that in a few year's time there will be nostalgia for things like TikTok and even the 2015-2019 era

Fear is universal, but the way a kid fears, and what they fear, Is different than am adult's. This kind of nostalgia makes us face the fears we forgot, or gives us new ones, when we revisit as adults.

The introduction reminds me of the first time I had ever played Minecraft. Once having played on my very first tablet after having my older brother purchase it, and what I can still remember to this day is that the sawmill had existed.

Exactly, although liminal spaces are more of a point of transition, though nostalgia does play a big part.

To some '90s kids who played Doom on the PS1, tho, it was actually a horror game, or at least felt like it. PS1 Doom was basically classic Doom but with more dynamic lighting for levels and Aubrey Hodges' more horror-themed ambient soundtrack, which gives it a more creepy and foreboding atmosphere. There was also Doom 64, an unofficial followup to Doom II which shares the PS1's soundtrack and lighting but also has more detailed and darker PS1-era graphics and gameplay elements that make D64 play more like a horror game even tho it's still original Doom in its core. The sprites were based on pre-rendered high-poly models; I think the '90s 3D look makes the enemies look more creepy/unsettling, and I love it. To fellow '90s kids who wanna re-experience Ultimate Doom and Doom II on PC with the aforementioned horror elements, there are mods you can try out like Aubrey Hodges Jukebox, D64ifier, and Brutal Doom 64 V2.666.

i think a big reason is the old graphics cause you to imagine more about what the things youre surviving actually look like. you will always imagine the scariest thing when watching horror
