Fallen down and these images give me the same feeling: nostalgia (heavy Anemoia), grief and sadness (likely for childhood innocence, as well as the people who never appear in these images) and the slightest bit of being unsettled.

This video brings me peace. I have severe amnesia, caused by very traumatic things that happened to me. So bad to the point where i cant even remember things from around 10 years ago and onward. I just turned 22 this month, which means half of my life is already forgotten, even important days like my birthdays. When i try to think of what happened at ages 2-10 I get nothing, and it scares me to the point of a panic attack. This video reminds me of certain bits and pieces, like things I had forgotten and had no way of remembering. Tiny flashes of memories that I have to desperately cling onto or else they'll be forgotten too. To whoever made this video, whether or not you put a lot of effort into this doesn't matter to me, thank you for helping me, even just a little with my problem. Thank you for using one of my favorite pieces of music to go along with it.

I’m a photographer, and I seek out and photograph spaces that carry this same energy. I feel as though once I snap the picture, it becomes it’s own dimension that is infinite in size. I feel that if I’m not careful when handling the pictures, I might slip in and never make it back out

@@-8coc8- I think having someone there to experience the beauty nostalgia these places evoke would both be a blessing and a curse. On one hand sharing something like that would allow you to resonate with another, and have them feel what you feel. And on the other hand I feel that spaces like this only reach their full potential when you know you're alone and left to your own thoughts.

My description of a liminal space is: a space where when a picture is taken of it, it creates a screenshot frozen in time, a time we miss even if we were never around then but somehow we still remember it

This music reminds me of my old childhood memories. The 4-5 years old me walking around in the park with my mom, watching cartoons on the tv in the evenings or the first two years of elementary school. It really feels like that the world was just a better, simpler and happier place back then. I'm 21 now, and don't want to grow up.

These images bring so many memories when I was a little kid growing up in the 2000's. A childhood that was so innocent, with all these colorful toys. It truly hit me knowing that my childhood is over, and I just have to deal with it. Elementary school was the best during this time. With all my friends and classmates. Now I don't see them anymore and I just wish we could all reunite. I wish more people can understand how much this means to me.

i remember seeing 3:24 i think, and the golden triangle mall but its freaking empty, and there was a pizza place where they served deep dish lunchable pizzas in a deep fryer but it looked more toaster ovened or microwaved then deep fryed, and i was with my grandma and my grandmas dog lulu, then i feel like me and my grandma ran to 3:24 and thats how the dream ended

I can relate these pictures to various experiences, and it gives me such a weird feeling. Picture at 1:49 perfectly depicts my kindergarten playroom. Picture at 3:29, I have been there in my dreams many many times. Picture 3:51, looks exactly like somewhere I’ve been in a dream too. Picture 0:33, I don’t have much memory, it was my daycare and I was aged 3, I remember that place, and this picture looks like it.

I always use to have this strange dream that pretty much reminded me of the backrooms. Nightmare 1 - I’d walk past hundreds of doors, next to those doors a glass of water and a dimly lit candle, nightmare 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, it went on as the same. Then one night I find this hell of a scary blobby, green red black, all sorts of coloured thing. And then it gave a huge groan. Then the dream ended, scary hey? Edit: btw the walls were yellowish brown and had the same ikea lights as the backrooms and same carpet but with oak wood doors. Last nightmare the ‘room’ or shall I say pit, was pretty much the same

I was born in 2009, but I realised that i really want to live in America 80s. I really don't know why, but this feeling... Feeling that everything was better... It makes me cry. Everything. The atmosphere of the old motel while a sunset comes... The atmosphere of these 1 floor American houses... The atmosphere of old life without mobile phones or computers, only slot machines. They are perfect. The atmosphere of old schools, where the fact you are in a football team made you the most popular person. I never lived in these times, but i miss them somehow... Sometimes, I think the reason why I get the feeling of Anemoia is probably because before I was born, I was in my dad's POV when he was young. And when I born, I immediately forget about everything when I was in his POV Or, it might be because when I was really young, my parents still own some vintage items and lives in a house with 1990s/2000s style living rooms. I think that's the reason why I get Anemoia. I didn't even remember anything what the first house I've live in looks like and I might have suddenly got the memories of it. That house might possibly have vintage items in it

no se si alguien le a a importar pero solo escribo esto para recordármelo siempre y nunca olvidármelo para mi misma en el futuro, cuando era pequeña siempre le tenia miedo a la lagaña, ya que casi todos los días me daba lagaña, y cuando tenia lagaña entraba en un tipo de sueño extraño ya que en ese sueño siempre había un hombre creo que bailando y su cara salía flasheada o borrosa y todo el ambiente era de tonos antiguos pálidos y amarillo, cada vez que soñaba eso despertaba llorando ya que dentro de ese sueño gritaba de auxilio ,y siempre que me daba lagaña me daba ese sueño no se si es algo perturbador o algo normal pero ahora me pregunto quien será tal persona.

The fun part of that one movie theater one is they still look like that some 20 years later, at least around here. They have not done well past 10-15 years, I guess, so they really don't seem to be updating the look at all. It is somewhat interesting though to go to a movie and see it being more or less as it was when I was a teenager. I'm just not very nostalgic for those years.
