Nostalgic Organ Medley 2 -Sounds of the 60's, 70s and 80's/ Stefaan VANFLETEREN live on Wersi OAX

Finally some holidays ! Finally time to play and to make a new recording. This morning I recorded some songs live, one after the other, going through the history of organ music. Sounds of the sixties, seventies and eighties, all coming from my fantastic organ Wersi Sonic OAX 800. You hear a.o. "Papa Loves Mambo" (Perry Como), "Sh-Boom" (Barry Frank), Santana Cha Cha Cha, "A man without Love" (Engelbert Humperdinck), "Forever and Ever" (Demis Rousos), "Haut Les Mains" (Ottawa), "Feelings" (Morris Albert)," Feierabond" /"'s nachts na tweeën" (Peter Alexander /De Havenzangers), Vamos a la Playa (Righeira), FMized, and "Illusion" (Franz Grothe). As always: no auto accompaniments, no midi files. Just a drumloop, two manuals, a full pedal and lot's of Wersi sounds ! I hope you enjoy it.

Hello Stefaan, I finally had a chance to listen to the complete rendering. Love the old Hammond b3 the bells the analog strings . You really make that wersi talk. I enjoy your feet playing the base and rock. Also love the synthesis sounds. You make that organ talk So enjoyable to watch and hear you play. The bells are just beautiful and the orchestra sounds are amazing. Thank you so much.

Simply wonderful. I built 2 helios and played them for years and the helios still beats the sonic oax the helios was the best would love to hear you playing a real helios

Thanks Christopher! I owned a Helios long time ago. And you are right: only a real Helios sounds as a Helios. However with these OAX samples and all the modern possibilities, it makes sense and fun to play in Helios Style!

Dankjewel Tony ! Inderdaad, sommige sound combinaties zijn geïnspireerd door mijn Galaxis (die ik enkele jaren geleden uit plaatsgebrek heb verkocht).
