"Tragic Prince"… I never realized just how much I liked this song. When I was younger, Lost Painting was the song from Symphony of the Night for me. But looking back, Tragic Prince might actually be the most iconic track of all. But nothing beats the old PS1 startup screen. No matter which game you played the most on that system, you always had to sit through that iconic startup sequence first.

Megaman X6 Intro stage music ... man, that game had an incredible soundtrack

Thanks. Vagrant Story is a tragically understated game with an amazing soundtrack. Aside from the bondage assless chapped man butts, the RPG gameplay, story, and general aesthetic was perfection.

I never played Chrono Cross (something I need to fix), however the opening of that first song reminds me so much of the Dark Souls 1 menu music.

Yep, right in the beginning. Any time I hear Dark Souls 1 menu music my eyes just kinda glaze over lol. Some mega nostalgia there... Chrono Cross is good. If you like PS1 and/or turn-based you should have a good time with it. Vagrant Story is the PS1 game I always suggest to the Souls fan though. Can't recommend it enough.

@@egocide9034 I have been wanting to pick up Chrono Cross on the Switch for sometime now, but the port seems to be sub-par unfortunately :(

@@egocide9034 Oh, and yes, I too get immediately taken back when I hear the DS1 music. That soundtrack is seared into my brain at this point. I wish I could experience DS1 for the first time again.

You had all the FFVIII to show one song. And you chose the best. Great mix.

Na próżno szukam w dzisiejszych grach, tego co zostało w moich wspomnieniach. Takie gry już nie wrócą. Od wielu lat próbuję znaleźć ta radość płynącą z grania. Dzięki za wstawkę, pozdrawiam.
