Nostalgic Trident Kickdown | Morebus SN51 AYP | Ex Lothian Bus 600

SN51 AYP was new to Lothian Buses in 2001 as there 630, It was new to Marine depot and used on services like the 2, 4 and 5.
When the Service 2 was changed to a guided Busway this along with a number of other Plaxton President’s and Wright Eclipse Urban’s got guide wheels and and ran along the 2 primarily until around 2011, this bus also used to be dual door and in the harlequin livery!

SN51 AYP was new to Lothian Buses as 630 in 2001, but was later renumbered as 600 as Lothian placed an order for 50 Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Geminis which were numbered 701 - 750.

@@b9tltransportvids The 51 plate Presidents were numbered 601 - 630, the 52 plate Presidents were numbered as 635 - 656, the 53 plate Presidents were numbered as 657 - 661 and the 04 plate Presidents were numbered as 662 - 706.

@@b9tltransportvids To make way for the Geminis ordered by Lothian, 701 - 706 (SN04 AEV/W/X/Y/Z, AFA) were renumbered as 656 - 661, 656 - 661 (SN53 AVU/V/W/X/Z) were renumbered as 629 - 633, 656 (SK52 OHT) was renumbered as 634, 629/630 (SN51 AYO/P) was renumbered as 599/600, 666 (SN04 AAU) was renumbered as 628 and 628 (SN51 AYM) was renumbered as 619. The original 619 (SN51 AYC) was scrapped having been involved in an accident with 2 Volvo B7RLE Wright Eclipse Urbans on the Edinburgh Fast Link Guided Bus Way in Stenhouse back in Summer 2008.
