Not a Good day in the Office at Spaunton Quarry

Round 4 of the ACU British extreme enduro championship took place at Spaunton Quarry near Pickering, North Yorkshire. I like the venue and have had good races there previously. This time it was not to be.......

That is mental. I rode the Standard cross country this year at Staunton as a newb and really struggled let alone something like the extreme.(I came last 😂). I loved it though but I have no idea how people get up those insane muddy hills like on the extreme.

Everyone has bad days props to you for sharing ! what year is that GPX and is is the two stroke 300 R ??? How do you like it Is there anything you really don’t like has it been reliable thank you. Hope to hear from you.

Yes it’s the 2 stroke 300R the bikes great no problems with it. Took my time setting the bike up when I got it the thing goes great. Should have had a medium tyre at the weekend in that mud. 😰

Great Job, and the right Decision. Yeah Fitness is Key - since I lost 4 KG and must not breath even under hard conditions, it’s so much more fun to ride. I guess you been on the 250, right? If so, is there something you can change on the bike to do better on hills like this?
