This video is what convinced me to be on the lookout for a Schecter C-1 E/A, as we’re in the same position you were in; suddenly leading worship with an electric guitar without a pianist 😂. I love my Schecters, so it wasn’t a big leap, but holy cow! I found a 2003 model with the split output jacks, and the piezo sounds insane over the PA. I’d say it sounds better than my Ovation SS acoustic for sure, with less of the wrist strain. Thanks for making this video!

I have the exact Schector C1 e/a and my main beef about it is that it drains the 9 volt battery but easy playing with great sounds sometimes I use a stereo guitar input to run the acoustic to a separate amp and humbuckers to separate amp that does wonders playing in stereo. Only one input but it's for playing stereo or straight signal with single input cables

Seems like a good solution for your problem. Does that mean you will be running into two amps at church? Comment of the day: Basses are important, believe it or not. Bass players are gonna love you for that one. Good luck with the new band structure 🎸

which do you like better, the PRS hollowbody 2 or the Schecter C-1E/A?
@RNAMusic10 ай бұрын
My friends PRS hollowbody II was amazing. at the time it was double the price of the Schecter E/A i found used. I wanted the PRS but couldn't fit it in the budget. If Budget is no concern.... PRS is amazing

Flick the selector switch from piezo only to both to magnetic only and you will know which is which. You can hear it.

Then you can mark the cable if it isn’t already

Most split cables will have a color difference, and once you test it you will know which is which

How do you run the piezo and the electric size out to different audio sources from the one output? Would a divider allow you to send separate signals or would it contain both combined signals?
@RNAMusic2 жыл бұрын
You can uses a split cable. Y cable. One split contains the piezo and one contains the magnetic pickups. It’s stereo cable on the part that plugs into the guitar and the two split ends are mono for going into two separate amps.
@IsaacLausell2 жыл бұрын
@@RNAMusic that is brilliant! Thanks for the info

That guitar has been out of production for a really long time now. Only hope is finding a used one somewhere. I almost never see them pop up on the used market though.
@israelrosario39223 жыл бұрын
Please elaborate on this… From what I can tell it doesn’t exactly work the way I think you’re intending it to work. The Y cable you have is splitting your signal into both amps… though that doesn’t mean your splitting your piezo and mag pickups into separate amps… they’re both going into both amps.
@RNAMusic3 жыл бұрын
They are not. The piezo is going to one amp and the mags are going to a different amp. The output jack of the guitar is a stereo jack, which is why your need a stereo guitar Y cable or a stereo adaptor.

Those peanuts are an abomination. I ordered a Orange head from GC years a go, they sent it in a box that could have carried a 4x12 full of those things. A tip if you are shipping, use all those plastic grocery bags that all of us keep laying around to pack the peanuts in.
