In all hoensty, still not worth the money. To spend $300+ and not get anything. I rather use those $300 to get what I exactly need from singles and still have plenty of more for a fast food combo.

The price point for the play booster box is a bit awkward too. If I were to choose, paying more for collector booster box, or selectively picking up a few packs of collector boosters, or simply buying singles seem like better choices compared with the play booster box.

@@yfw123 I will do $100-150 for a gamble. But $250? and not get what I was hoping for? Yeah, straight to singles. I've only open 3 collectors in my life and never even broke even on none of them. Buying boxes is not worth the risk at those "premium" prices.

I think this set is super pushed in general, with huge line of usable cards all over different formats. This is not a complain :D, but still - they pushed the powerlevel again forward, added Eldrazis in the set, fetches, free spells and even medallions. So yes, i am getting 2 boxes :D

Nice showing! The value and playability is certainly there! Definitely can't complain when it's free but still no fetches in 36 packs shouldn't happen. Personally, if I bought that box for $250 and that happened I'd be royally pissed considering I need all the allied fetches.

I’m picking up a box. My friends and I are going to play sealed with the packs, I keep all the cards. The big hits make it feel fine financially. Even if it’s a financial loser box we’re still going to have a ton of fun with this product. Can’t say the same about other sets. At $245 shipped from stomping grounds it seemed like a no brainer.

Man I don't know if it's worth it being $250+ for a box. The box was solid but not for the price. I'm just going to wait for the singles to drop after a month or so. I really like those MDFCs though. I wish they had some mythics of them but even the uncommon seem awesome

Very interesting to hit no fetch lands at all, but that is how randomness works I guess! Very solid selection of other rares and mythics though!

Nope, same phenomenon happened in MH2 WAY too often. It's just rigged. There're just less fetch-slots.

Those people are the same ones who net deck and ruin every game they get into. Opening booster packs was the entire point of tcgs. That's what made actually playing the game fun because nobody had the exact same deck. Now you go to any big event and 60-80% of the people are playing the same couple of decks, often the exact same lists.

I watched a guy open 4 collector boosters. Each had 3-5 fetches, assorted variants. Don't know if that was just lucky, or if that's kind of what you can expect from those. I think there are probably a lot more slots where they can show up in collector, but I'm shocked you didn't fetch a fetch. That's a bummer. But I will say - he didn't hit a single Eldrazi Titan in any of those 4 collector boxes and you got 2, plus a bunch of other good stuff so yea that was a nice box.

I hate this set for limited/draft. Eldrazi and energy both typically suck in those formats, but the singles for commander are 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Buying 2 prereleases kits. Then I will buy singles

My LGS is giving out 2 free playbooster packs for every purchase of one prerelease kit. I think you can get 1-2 fetch lands per kit. Hopefully getting 5 kits will grant me more fetchlands 😂that aside, i saw someone pulled a NF Ulamog defiler (reg) + retro frame Emrakul World Anew (foil) in a single pre-release pack
