Thanks Iain. If my videos go even a small way to help people appreciate the nature around them then they have achieved their goal. Have a lovely weekend. 👍🤓👍

Great comparison of the two birds. Not sure if we have Dunnocks here but I will definitely know now if I see one.

Favourite bird is the little Dunnock. Don’t they pair up for life? Their song seems varied to me, sometimes as you show in the video, a bit like a robins but other times I think mostly in the winter, a quiet short and quiet ish squeak sound. I haven’t seen a tree sparrow for decades since I was a kid I don’t think. I’ll be seeing plenty of sparrows soon , visiting a friend in Spain. He has loads in his roof much to his frustration , but I find them cheery and a good alarm call in the morning. Fab fact file video Graham .👍☺️🙏

Thanks buddy. Pair up for life? Not sure about that but my understanding is that both sexes are notorious for having multiple "liaisons"!!! Have a great time in Spain and thanks for your ongoing support! Do tell your friends about my channel, spread the word dude! 👍😎👍

Lovely film Graham. I've never heard of it being called anything other than a Dunnock. I love the sound they make, hear it all the time in our garden as well as the Robin. Great video with some fascinating facts.

Thanks Jay. Some birds do seem to have different names in different parts of the country. 👍🤓👍

what a great video. there are so many striking difference between the dunnocks and house sparrows. i could talk all day, given half the confidence! they are both magnificent birds, for sure. i do like your little gift set, i think that i'm pretty much the same! only anywhere wild with wildlife will do me grand ;)
