It's a shame the band never played this song live, because it's simply wonderful. For me, this is the best song on the album after Rime of the ancient... and Powerslave. Great reaction.

Bruce Dickinson being a competition fencer I'm sure had his hand in this song even though Harris is listed as the writer. 'The Duellists' is another fencing song, inspired by the 1978 Ridley Scott film of the same name.

Again and again and again!!!! Up the irons!! One of the best things i’ve ever heard REALLY, no BS or exaggeration! And i listen to a lot of genres and from a lot of cultures!
