As Wrinkle has been

Its not good vibes
And i dont want to be a downer
But it needs to be talked about
People who get a baby pet duckling
Then when it grows up
They realize

A lot of work
And then they dump it at the park
Where most will not survive
This is a constant issue

For longer than youd know

Since before i was even hatched

I swear animals have a sixth sense we don’t have: the sense of innate trust. They seem to be able to tell if a human or other animal is trustworthy and when they are up to something. There have been many examples of dogs and cats getting aggressive towards babysitters because they saw they were abusing the children, and thus got aggressive towards them. Another example is Mouse, a pregnant stray cat that was featured on the dodo. When she was first found, she was meowing loudly at her soon-to-be owner’s door and ran inside, and followed her everywhere. Mouse trusted her so much that when the owner gave her a bath, she didn’t meow loudly or try to escape. What Mouse did was simply go along, even if she didn’t like the process per se.

Ducks are very sensitive to anesthesia. One of my ducks had to have surgery on his leg and he passed away on the table. I was heartbroken. I hope this baby lives.

Thanks so much to all you for helping Freddy the duck. These are great people. I got into duck rescue about 2 years ago and it is so great to see the whole Wrinkle crew spreading awareness. I know these people and they are amazing. We volunteer for duck rescues and I help with driving and lake and pond rescues. Everyone please do what you can to let people know not to dump ducks. Also Freddy needs help for medical costs. She is the sweetest girl and so is Wrinkle and everyone in this film.

I'm so sorry that Freddie had to run into people who didn't know the magic animals can bring to their lives, and visited such cruelty on her. The good thing is that the cruelty she faced brought her to some wonderful people who care about her. As well as one special duck. I hope Freddie and Wrinkle can have more visits.

I'm so happy that lady saved Freddie. Wrinkle seemed to enjoy meeting a new feathered friend. Human has a big heart ❤️ . We should all treat each other the way he does. Very caring and sincere. Tears of sadness and joy with this one. Freddie is one sweet duck and after all she’s been thru she still gives kissies, and snuggles. Amazing she can still trust anyone. She’s definitely in good hands and on her way to recovery…hopefully after her surgery things will be easier for her. When I saw those before pictures, I felt horrible for Freddie -- it looks like she was attacked by other ducks or waterfowl (they pummel the head and bite the feet!) Then, was covered in tar and injured when she tried to escape. You know Pekin ducks can't fly? I can just imagine her desperately running for her life. I hope Wrinkle's visit will bring Freddie some good luck. She's so friendly despite all she's been through.

Thank you for bringing attention to duck rescue. It wouldn't hurt for people to go watch Wrinkle's video about Easter ducks as Christmas approaches. The duck rescue I follow had someone turn in two baby ducks that they got as a gag gift. One, stop hatching birds in the winter. Two, animals are not gag gifts. If you aren't ready to commit like Human Name to your house duck, then don't get one. They do not like being left alone. They are not clean animals. They are feathered little free loaders who eat you out of house and home.

No duck or any animal should have to deal with this. I have a dog that was in a reservation, she was beaten, starving, scared of other dogs, and coated with ticks. Shes now happy and chubby

The duck is so cute j really want to meet it someday I used to have ducks bit then they died two girls and two boys and one of the boys had a poof on his head and he go aggressive towards me so we gave them to my grandma and then they dided after a while I LOVED THEM. 😢
