This song really makes me think so much. I am in an unstable relationship, but until June it didn’t give any indication of being so. We were both so cute, we showed every moment the love we had for each other. Until one day, he changed and everything was transformed. This song hurts even more when memories start popping up in your head of the person you were best friends with and almost became lovers with. But they also took advantage of me and constantly led me on for years. Sometimes I wonder how and why I put up with it for so long. I have never fallen in love or been in a relationship, I knew they weren’t a good person but when they showed me affection, constantly told me they loved me, & even talked to me about dating & living together. I definitely started to develop strong feelings for them. They said all that but their actions always said otherwise, they constantly dated other people despite flirting with me and saying they love me. Later on they cut me out of their life because of a boy they met in 2 weeks. I couldn’t believe it because they dropped somebody that they knew for 3 years for somebody they knew for 2 weeks. I was so upset and angry because throughout our relationship I wanted to leave because they weren’t treating me correctly and putting me through a lot of pain. It was so hard for me to leave but so easy for them. I know the lyrics in this song mean something totally different but I think of them when I hear this song, when I think back on the many memories we shared together I know I truly deserved better.

Man, having to suck up the school trauma is the worst. Although i don't have PTSD,the memories and regrets of it truly bother me and i still haven't been able to recover from those days where I'd return back home with bruises on my legs,where I'd get called "Disgusting" and "Dirty" and the kids in class avoiding me(meanwhile there was a uh,hair bug breakout, meanwhile i didn't even get one of them in my hair 💀),being dragged into thinking I'm friends with people MANY times and then being terribly gaslighted,Emotionally abused and used,having your belongings taken away without your permission,and NO ADULT DİD BS. they """"warned"""" the class and called it a day, meanwhile the mental torture continued. Now i avoid people,have a internet addiction,clinically diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and major depression. This is not something a child at the ages between 6 to 12 should go through. This went on for 6 YEARS. IN DİFFERENT SCHOOLS. only the last two years of middle school (7-8) were great in my whole school life. And ninth grade,no one touches anyone and i think that's great!! But it's really fked up that kids can be such monsters, honestly.

i know :( my own brother calls me the f slur and an emo. I also like dressing ALT and I like the style, and him just saying that makes my self esteem go plummeting, and I hope that we can both get through it :) (oop also I have no problem with 'emos' but using it as an insult towards anyone is uncool.)
