Officially from 1962. But underneath China already deemed India as an enemy and never changed its(China) official stance. China was just building its strength to do what it wanted to eventually. On the other hand, most political parties were full of corruption and were bought and paid by CCP and they were letting China destroy every small industry in India. But then comes the BJP in power. with a real nationalist leader who also tried to improve relations with China. China had market control and it had opportunity to gain more and more control. But Xi Jinping tried to divert the focus of his country's people from internal affairs by lashing outside. Because his own internal policies were horrible. He chose India as a scapegoat and perhaps for him there was not much difference in India of 2014 before elections and India of 2020. He thought that India won't push back and BJP will succumb to political pressure and media narratives spread by many sold out media outlets and journalists. But BJP didn't succumb and allowed the military to operate normally. If any intrusion happens at LAC, the military was supposed to pushback Chinese troops and they did pushback.

I dont think it's an attack on the media it's a general consensus that we played a part in 9/11. How we were betrayed to back the USA invasion and watch its military might. Dear Palki, the segment about dwindling viewership of news was very well delivered by you. Whoever wrote it should be commendded for a hard hitting content and reflected the facts. I am one of those who would fall in to that category. I was impressed and awed by the content as if I was looking at myself in a mirror. I do watch your show religiously because your summations are to the point and without fluff and opinions. The delivery is barebones and undiluted.
