There seems to be two currency markets these days. The “established” one, this is the one that most of us are in and the “fake market “where the pump and dumpers live. It is wrong for anyone to scam others. I consider this outright stealing, but at the same time, buyers must educate themselves to recognize this junk and DON’T buy it. If there were no market for this stuff, the scammers would not be doing it. Just because someone overpays for an item does not make that item worth that price. Try selling a “Trinary” or “Birthday” note to a dealer. Better put your fingers in your ears, because the laughter will be loud. Like Stu says if you can find them easily at the bank, they are not rare. Rarity does not come in volumes. Thank you for pointing out this stuff. I hope it educates the next collector away from junk like this.

I really had no interest in watching this video because of its length. But after the first 4 minutes I knew that I had to watch the whole video. THANKS A LOT

There are many times where I believe that the seller is having someone bidding up the item to make it look like it’s a very expensive item and trying to lure others into the bidding process. You really need to know what you’re bidding on before you start bidding on an item. THANKS A LOT STU !!

on average about 385,000 people are born each day worldwide, and about 10,000 everyday in the U.S. alone, so that helps the odds of selling a birthday note, plus friends and family may buy one for someone else as a gift?

A doozy of a video. Definitely a reason why I have mostly stopped quoting values in my finds videos. I did in my earliest videos because people asked for it, but I later realized that many of my finds, really were not of value, felt it was more responsible to just say that they are cool to me, and might not have any value over face. That guy is a doozy.

"Valuable" doesn't mean it HAS value. It means it is ABLE to have value. It's literally in the word.
@Stuplubakcurrency2 ай бұрын
@@xozegraf7179 Nice dodge. No. If you call something valuable, you are clearly saying it has value. Picking up a random rock and calling it valuable because it MIGHT be worth something fits your description but not the definition.

This whole fancy serial number,star, error note thing is just way out of hand.Everyone thinks every note is worth more than face value.People are just making shit up.They're all jumping on the bandwagon.Besides ripping people off on eBay, they're auctioning off notes on whatnot and getting even more money.

Have you seen the red seal $2 bills being altered to have yellow seals on ebay? They’re going for hundreds of dollars and people are eating them up. Worst part is some of these have the reason why they’re yellow in the description and people are still paying top dollar.
