I’m from Baton Rouge and have fished the Gulf many times and the waves can get huge. I rarely get seasick but was once in 10ft swells puking over the side and catching Red Snapper at the same time. 😎

I have the Wisconsin Obsolete Bank Notes and Scrip book by Chester L. Krause, (I live in Milwaukee). The book's like thirty years old, but I doubt that anything in it has been updated because it's such a niche subject! It pretty much goes into great detail about the currency of Wisconsin, and what it was used for and such. It sets all the bank notes on a rarity scale from 1-7, and most are pretty much 7's. Very hard to find stuff, I even tried looking up some of the notes from the book online with absolutely nothing about them. I hope to get my hands on some obsoletes from my hometown someday!

Correction: 1928 $1 Legal Tender actually circulated in US, as only 8012 were released in to the us circulation in 1928 the rest of them were released in to circulation in Puerto Rico, 15 years later.

I only have one obsolete bill a Louisiana Baby note.

I also collect obsolete bank notes from an obsolete town. It's my one and only all time favorite collection. Everything else I have are random pieces but this one I consider a collection because I have more than one.

OK - this seller is possibly the quietest WORST scam seller ever. Doesn't seem like it right away with the "Auction" price but combine with the BIN price and the F'n shipping - AND the fact that you are getting NOTHING except $1. Wow. This guy really is the scum of eBay scammers.

not sure how they calculate interest back then, but 8% is pretty good rate. if it was 8% per year that would have been 400 dollars in interest. if it was compounded interest then it would be $469.33 in interest. you can't find that good of rate nowadays

Found my first real radar yesterday.

If that note was 13318998, that would have been slightly more cool with 2 sets of 4 digit radars. Not saying that it would be worth his asking price, but would have been better than his note.

One could only hope that if someone was looking for a particular fancy serial number, they would at least know what that consisted of and avoid trolls like this. At a minimum if they typed in repeater that this note wasn't like an actual repeater. I would hope anyway.
