Thanks to both of you! I used the pandemic as a period of growth. It was when I finally admitted I had internalised everything as a result of childhood neglect. So yes, I've started on a journey to heal myself and thanks to videos like this, we are all more aware. Huge thanks again.

I'm sure people thought I was crazy when I told them I talked to some ants, and asked them to move out from my kitchen, and they did! Someone told me to try it, and I laughed, but it really worked! I had been very cruel to them before that, and found the only success I had was with an ant trap under the fridge, and one didn't get rid of all of them. Ever since my chat with them I haven't seen any at all!
@mfibonacci52752 жыл бұрын
Some years ago I heard of a lady who talked to the ants in her home and said they had to go or she'd have to poison them. They seemed to leave or stay out of sight at least. I tried it a few times over the years as I seen ants and it worked pretty much most of the time. Sometimes they'd crawl up my legs maybe I'm borderline diabetic. But the crawling drove me crazy

Absolutely wonderful talk. I have plenty of trauma, but also a autonomic nervous system disorder and the combination is exhausting to say the least. Very comforting to hear others talk about this, to know that I'm not alone in this, and that (more) progress can be made, and I'm not just "doomed." In addition, I very much feel a lot of the "Just nine months?!" in people reacting to Covid, and I get frustrated that people still don't understand how much I've gone through even though they're getting a similar taste of what it's like for me. It's a weak point of mine that I have to be aware of.

I love this topic and think it is the key to moving our species forward together. After about 3 years of truly practicing this to overcome a perpetually stressful and often abusive upbringing, I can now use my knowledge of and relation to maladaptive emotional responses to dissolve any attachment to them . Without awareness, we can go through life deploying the same emotional responses we learned from early life traumas to benign things like the coffee example used in this video. I didn’t realize how often I dissociated until really working on this. It might not be recommended for beginners but entering a relaxed state and allowing memories of emotionally charged circumstances to bubble up, and viewing them through this new paradigm really facilitated deep healing for me. The assumptions I would internalize after one of these states were often quite disempowering. Thanks for the video

First, I hadn't heard of this channel, the presenter nor the interviewee but profound respect to all three. I've spent some time in the orbit of both the Hermetic / western esoteric community (mostly Golden Dawn diaspora) and the Game B, IDW, and 'sense-making' oriented areas, and it seems like what we're wrestling with is the 'red in tooth and nail' side of Darwinian evolution when we grapple with the chokehold that trauma (I'm including multipolar traps and tragedy of the commons here) seems to have on this whole system. We're trying to do society in a sane and pro-growth way, evolution itself is trying to flip the tables on us constantly - through trauma and through the various ways in which aggregate trauma changes human behavior or in the various ways that people expediting and dispensing trauma serves its ends. Healing people is critical, I also really hope we find some check-sums that work and can stabilize this mess. Outside of that it's perpetually filling a leaking bucket that needs to be filled because there's nothing else 'decent' that can be done but the leak seems like it's a hard-bound feature and the churning of generations, the battle for mating rights and status, the need for power all of that generates, seems to lock that in stalemate.

Same as "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" yet the many other healing foods out there help too... There's never Only one path to healing. Lessons & methods will fall into your lap. when they resonate, you keep them & allow their service to heal you. What doesn't resonate, you let go & keep on your healing journey.

How can you say "I just had a genetic disposition"? You *cannot* say that that was not a nervous system response to your environment. When we are born we have been "alive" for 9 months. And at the point you were able to be "attached" to your "father's knee", you would have experienced many additional months of in-the-world nurture.... I appreciate Jeffrey's calm, slow, thoughtful, and apparently integrated disposition in this interview... but that gave me a bad taste right from the start. To conclusively say you know what you cannot, and to laugh it off...wow.
