I am not a fan of this show. There is too much "clutter" all over the place. Leaving the musicians little space to march. Instead they stay bunched together most of the time not making any intricate patterns. The visual is just messy in appearance. With that said, the color guard was excellent. I don't think I saw a single drop or out of time. The musicians did really well too. I didn't hear any obvious mistakes. The only exciting part of this show was the last minute. There was actual marching and coordination with the color guard instead of the prior 10 minutes of a jumble of bodies. Lastly, I think it is important that the show translates to the audience what it is saying. I suppose you could call it the story. I see no story here....just a jumble of color.
