“Not dancing with him…” EAM Jaishankar quips when asked to dance on ‘Naatu Naatu’ with Japanese FM

EAM S Jaishankar addressed the India-Japan Forum 2023 with his Japanese Counterpart in New Delhi on July 28. During the question-answer session, EAM was asked to dance with Japanese FM on iconic ‘Naatu Naatu’ from RRR. To this, EAM S Jaishankar jokingly said that he would not dance with Japan’s Foreign Minister. Both Jaishankar and Hayashi were asked about their favourite movies from each other’s countries. To this, Hayashi said that he loves the movie RRR. Then he was asked to dance with Dr S Jaishankar. Reacting to it, EAM Jaishankar jokingly said that he would not dance with him (Yoshimasa Hayashi).

Brah, read the history again. Japan has played an instrumental role since independence, as India was the only nation who stood up for Japan, when post WW2 the allies were draining Japan of its resources by putting ad-hoc fines. India said no, as it wasn't fare and also paid for it as the amount of almost 1.5$M promised by British, were never paid. So, India-Japan share history, a sensitive and crucial one. FACT: Until now, US handled all foreign and defence policy. Just wait for Japan to be ruled by Japanese, they are formidable and India always had wisdom of keeping Japan close 🙏🇮🇳
