Thank you, those were wonderful words to hear, I was feeling condemned, and under the law, but it is wonderful to realize that we are no longer under the law, Thank You, Jesus, my Saviour!

Kathryn, I was inspired to do up my own little message for my son and all others who are involved in this way. I also gave you, and R.L Solberg a shout out at the end to help people find other great resources to help them. Thank you for what you are doing!

Amen.. I was in the same sinking boat! Jesus showed me the danger of such a self righteous group of haters. Freedom from that group of people. Set free by the will of Yah. Go have a pork sandwich. Walk in the Spirit!!!!!! Please keep posting your videos. You have no clue how much what you are saying are leading HIS people out of bondage. Semper Fi! Much Agape and Shalom.❤

I thank you for the interview with R L Solberg. It lead me here. I've been being pulled into Hebrew Roots, and my salvation constantly questioned and condemned 🥺 i love these people, I want to spread the Word and bring people into the Kingdom with them alongside and brothers and sisters in Christ. Meanwhile, my faith is constantly being attacked by them. My salvation status constantly questioned. It hurts. It's hard, the people twist Paul's scriptures so deeply. We can never speak of the Holy Spirit, and whenever I mention Jesus I too am accused of idolising Him as they say "remember it's not all about Yeshua. People focus on Him so much that they forget and neglect the Father". It's extremely difficult. You're helping me keep my sanity in this madness. Thanks sister ❤

We also don't need to wear zitzits. I had a HR friend who wears them to always remember the law. It's sad when you realize the bondage HR followers are in. Most refuse the grace and freedom in Jesus in favor of following the law.

Kathryn, This gem of a video wound up in my feed. Yay! Good stuff!! I spent 10 years around the HR/TO folks, but always new something was up. It all came to a head when I was challenged why I was in leadership… and didn’t wear tzitzits. Without a thought, I replied… “I’m not in that covenant!” THAT got me thinking. Albeit true, I had to prove it. So in my journey to figure out the one-continual-story of how God resolves the fall of man, I started writing. Now I have quite a catalog of notes and papers detailing my journey out of “her” and into Him. My father was a tech-writer… and I guess I inherited a bit of his gift(?) of explaining technical things. I tell you the truth, when Yah saw my sincerity, He blessed me… giving me eyes to see and understand how ---> He chose ---> to teach the truth of “The Law”. This way, this method, is what all the HR/TO folks have missed… causing them to build again what was destroyed on the cross - trading the Rock for sand. Kathryn, this I share with you. Blessings, Don docs.google.com/document/d/1hycJLQKkmrk0UDw8HXdhlIgotRBNBtlG/edit?usp=drive_link

(Eze 36:26-27 KJV) 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

I will pray for this sister. All of what you said is very true as we do have the Holy Spirit now, thank God! Something I would add to help this sister is that Peter ate with gentiles after he had the vision of the unclean animals when the Lord told him what God has cleansed you shall not call common. He ate with them for a few day as a matter of fact. He could have had bacon and eggs for the first time. This was a shock to the others as it says in Acts 11:3. Then Peter told them what the Lord said and they were glad! Bottom line- the dietary laws had to go away so the Jews could go out to all nations with the gospel, without limitations. 😀

I agree. What’s interesting is that I didn’t truly understand this until I tried keeping the food laws in a gentile nation. Let me tell you, it’s difficult and it took a lot of focus. It strained relationships with family as well. And I could have been leading people to Christ with that energy instead of striving to make sure none of my food was contaminated with pork or shellfish…

Btw, another thought… Don’t feel condemned, more like blessed that the Holy Spirit may be reaching out to you, and guiding you, in wisdom and truth. Something that I try to do daily is to read Proverbs, per whatever day of the month it is. For instance,, if it is the first day of the month, read Proverbs chapter 1, then stop. Contemplate throughout the day what you read, and ask the Father for discernment and understanding. Again, just a thought…

Ok, so just a thought… in the martial arts, you are taught to always keep your center, your balance, your chi. Where is the center of our Bible, Psalms 119. What does this center of our Bibles focus on? His Torah, His food for life. In this center, is the only definition of truth in the entire Bible - “Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and your Torah is truth”. Psalms 119:142. He also tells us that the way that He wants us to worship Him, is in spirit and truth. What did His only begotten son tell us, teach us, and show us to do? How to properly worship Him and walk in His Torah. For His dietary commands, like not eating pork And such, and telling us what is good to eat for our bodies, is a command throughout all our generations. Keeping His Sabbaths is actually a sign between us and Him, which is actually Saturday, not Sunday. He, Jesus, did not come to give us a new covenant,but a renewed covenant. As He himself states, “I do not give you any new commands, but actually what the Father told me to tell you”. And it is also written that who teaches those to follow His commands,His Torah, shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven; but he who teaches those to not follow My commands, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven. I am not Jewish, or a preacher, or anything like that, just a man who seeks Him, and has asked that He open my eyes that I may see, my ears that I may hear, and give me the spirit of understanding when I study His word, seek His truths. Again, just a thought sister, and to those who may see this video…

So if the law was only a "teacher" and the Holy Spirit is now our tutor. What do you say when your loved one states that the Holy Spirit is the one who is directing them to observe the sabbath and follow torah? 😢 They say if Jesus observed the Torah and honored the Sabbath...so must we as gentiles. How do you respond to those who say....God told them (Holy Spirit).
@ftldelay
@ftldelay Жыл бұрын
I would ask them how the Holy Spirit told them that, as God has made it very clear in His Word as to how we are to live now. If it's just a "feeling" they have, feelings change. People in cults and other false religions all "feel" like what they believe is true. It's very common these days for those confronted with clear teachings of scripture to say things like "oh, that's just Paul's opinion", which would show a blatant disregard for the authority of scripture and prioritizing their own feelings over it. Dangerous stuff.... Also, the Holy Spirit will never contradict Scripture. For more in-depth study, I'd highly recommend the books "Torahism" by R.L. Solberg and "Sabbath In Christ" by Dale Ratzlaff.

I wonder if your friends lived back before the "Bible" was so widely in print and they ONLY had the Holy Spirit to guide them, would they have come to this same conclusion? Or are they conflating what was clearly instructed for Israel with themselves because they are reading it and think that whenever an instruction is read and says "you" that it refers to the present reader?

@@ftldelayLike when they say the law is only for Jew us gentiles aren’t under the old law. That’ll be like me saying you need too obey my state laws of NC I don’t know where you from. Now the moment we became a child of God we became adopted in. Like if you moved to NC for example you’ll be apart of the state. I hope that makes sense I’m still learning myself
@ftldelay
@ftldelay Жыл бұрын
@@kevindavis4709 Hi Kevin. Yes - Us Gentiles are now part of God's family. When you get into the whole idea of the law, it's pretty complex. There's certainly an overarching law that existed before mankind was created - in the sense that there was a state of being that would be pleasing to God in His holiness. How that law was given to man, ie. what was required by God, has been different over time. Pre-Moses, there was no sacrificial system, Sabbath requirements, rules on food, etc., but there were certainly things that were obviously wrong, as in Cain killing Abel. We have to carefully look at what laws were given to whom and the covenantal structure around that. There is still a "law" in existence for believers now, but what is involved and how it applies is different than for the Israelites. It's certainly not something to quickly understand, but the books I mentioned earlier are a big help - especially "Torahism", for the law aspect. God bless.

Why wouldn’t the Holy Spirit lead someone to observe the Sabbath? The Sabbath is supported by scripture.

Excellent word. Though what you are saying is just basic Christian doctrine, it is far beyond what the average bible belt church goer understands. God said His people perish for lack of knowledge, and so it is. People would not be so easily drawn into a counterfeit gospel if they really understood the real. Sometimes error is not way off from the truth but with just the little twist as you say, it is right next to it. And yes, the Holy Spirit Will give us the discernment to know the difference. I wonder, did desperation drive you to search out the truth? It did me. Blessings to you and your work.

Hi Gary! So true. My observation of the church's abundant grace but with compromising truth led me away from the larger church body. Some of this was pride in my heart. I think what led me to Hebrew Roots was a desire (or perhaps desperation) to live as a Christian with integrity and reverence, and I felt the weight of the world and some churches drifting so far away from Him. I also did not have a solid foundation (barely any) of the real Hebrew Roots of Christianity in the Old Testament and so it was easily reconstructed for me by others to convince me I needed to still follow the Laws as Jews do today. At that point in my walk I remember thinking, "Ok. If this is what the Lord asks of me, of course I'll obey!" And it spiralled downward from there.
