Unironically Connor adopting Fiore and Jake is much better than Alec adopting Fiore. Connor would notice Fiores trust issues and Alec and Jake could help her get through them since Jake has issues with his parents as well. Alec being a parent is clearly too much responsibility to him. At the very best he’s an uncle/substitute caretaker.
