Thanks! I was almost on the verge of giving up... Almost all entry level jobs I see require 2-5 years experience. I'll be applying with more confidence.

Excellent explanations as always. Thanks for the encouragement. I actually know someone as you described about the consulting companies. His whole academic life is full of doubts.

You’re a very talented teacher. I took a couple of your courses in the past. Looking at the video I noticed you gained weight as you get age. This is a very sedentary profession. More students need you. Take care of yourself, eat less, exercise more. 🙋🏻♂️

That was a very good video. To add to that there are many recruiting companies who are sprouting up with weird names and are being operated out of India. They don't have direct contact with the hiring managers and it's a pain to work with them. They don't provide you with updates. They take a cut in the rate and offer you meagerly wages. I have never had any interviews with them. The ones who are actually physically based in the USA are the o es who keep tou in the loop and things move faster.

Thanks for shedding much light on the consulting companies. lol One thing i also realized is not to burn bridges with one consulting companies, because they sub-contract so many jobs you don't even know who you gonna work for. Ahmad, can you explain how the hourly pay works with consulting companies? Example, I will see a job posted on dice, and it will say $50-90hr depending on experience. When the consulting guy asked how much i am expecting to get paid for the position. I will say $85. They will say that is too much, the most the company is paying is $65. Why do they do that?

It's funny you said that about consulting con artist. I myself became a hunt for these types of people till I realized wait a minute. They're fraud. I'm from old school type of person who believes in hard work and dedication. But it is so disappointing what they do.
