I hve already subscribed to your channel. You give sound advice. I am interested in blockchain or anything that can get me a job faster. I have basic programming concept but have never written any code professionally. Do you think, I can learn blockchain without any substantial experience in any major language? They say that blockchain is very complex and the jobs also require you know other languages. Is there any way you can simplify the blockchain learning path for us. Like which language I should learn right now. How about Javascript and then solidity?

So I'm VERY VERY interested in learning blockchain and related technologies (like Solidity). Your courses don't seem directly related to blockchain, so are you going to add more that are directly blockchain related? I'm interested in both the data analyst and software dev side, but even more so blockchain. How to you recommend me to proceed?

Quants for big banks possess MSc minimum but most are PhD candidates, the best of the best since they are highly sought after by faang firms too. The mathematical modelling is typically post-grad level and most quants will be programming in c++ due too a need for speed and high performance.

I also appreciate the Java language and ecosystem but I'm aiming for freelance work and eventually bootstrapping an agency in some form, and I've got it in my head that Java is not strong for freelancing and is almost entirely for corporate employee positions. Unfortunately, scouting the job market here in the UK and you cannot get a job by being proficient in SQL. It’s a small part of what employees are asking for jobs starting on £30k. If you’re not young enough to be living at home and having time to learn, you’ve got no chance of entering the developer space. It’ll take 2 years of learning at 40 hours a week to get an entry level job and if you have a job, house etc. it’s not going to happen.

@@86zafar I would stick to finance, look at Python, R, databases. I'm a full-stack developer (java + angular) and I'm thinking about a transition to finance.
@LOLMAN22
@LOLMAN22 3 жыл бұрын
@@86zafar Same thing happened to me. I graduated with a business admin degree, turns out I had no interest in it. Then I went back to school for an degree in Software engineering. The only good thing about school was the coop/internship, you need to have some professional experience under your belt. If you are in finance already, try learning programming on your own and try to automate a few things around the office, or maybe you can make a web application that makes things easier using React or node for example. This way you will learn a lot, perhaps you can job shadow some software devs and gradually get into programming. Programming is hard though, trust me you will have to constantly update yourself in order to be successful. These days companies ask for front end engineering skills (HTML, CSS, Angular, React), back end (Spring boot, Flask, .net core, node.js) and some dev-ops skills to. Not to mention you have to be good at solving algorithms on the spot during the interview process.
