I'm 73 years old and I was raised not to even walk across someone's property. FYI I was born in Sulphur. We lived next to the old outdoor theater.. Hospital is gone house is gone but I have fond memories.

More than 100% agree. We had a neighbor for over 10 years who continually trespassed, no matter how many times we called the sheriff’s dept. They even assaulted my husband on our property, attempted to kill my horses & did kill a dog. Other neighbors road dirt bikes and snow machines without consent. Another family would let their dogs run lose, while I was carriage driving on our track, a friend was out driving one day with her mini, who was attacked, my friend had sustained a broken wrist & the mini was forever fearful of dogs after that occurrence. The tension was unbelievable. We could get no justice. They moved, but sadly are doing the same to new neighbors now. It was a very challenging time for me, as I was recovering from multiple surgeries, while my husband was working full time. The new neighbors are amazing and a blessing from heaven. I’m am very grateful they have moved in. I get what you are experiencing.

A tip for you, a garbage can lid will help you to keep geese from nipping you. Done that with our Emden/Toulouse pair. I got tired of her nipping me, grabbed the nearest thing close by, the garbage bin filled with their food lol. It works!

​@@audreycopses4356 yep. I am 70, disabled and bed-bound. Last year about this time a guy came to my house 5 separate times, came in through the dog door and into my house twice. He's on probation for felony trespass for three years, as there was no injury or damage done. I've had to install cameras, lock up my gates, keep my doors and windows locked up all day (no chance leaving windows and doors open for fresh air on pretty days😢) and I put bells on my doors and dog door (also necked it down so dog has to squeeze through). Plus now I keep personal protection in a holster on the side of my bed. It won't happen again.

I hear you Daniel, we're country folk here in New Zealand, our driveway is about half the length of yours (I can see the road from my lounge) we have people stopped in the driveway all the time, the cops use it to catch the speeders on our road. It drives my dogs nuts when there are people stopped in our drive for ages sometimes. People climb the fences looking for mushrooms or at duck shooting season. Totally annoying 😞

You can hang black flower pots upside down by a string. I use hay string usually with a stick tied on the insde to hold it up, then smear Lucas oil stabilizer all over the outside of the handing pot. The horseflies, yellow flies, deer flies, cow flies and barn flies land on it and stick and cant get off and die. I have 3 out already nad they are doing their job here in N.W. Florida. 100 milea east of Pensacola

Completely agree about people needing to respect boundaries, Daniel. I have chickens and for some reason folks think they can just come into my yard and go to backyard to see them. I’m polite to them and ask them to just knock next time. I am also armed and I don’t trust everyone. I even caught a neighbor trying to steal eggs in 2020. I gave him a dozen and told him to just ask next time. I usually have extra, and I’m a reasonable person! So, like your broody, territorial goose, if you come to my nest uninvited, you might just get bit! Be polite!

Great video, Ty ❤️❤️❤️💯 So true, so true about privacy. I agree and respect that, for sure. I traveled in an RV , all over the USA, that was fun and now have van life going on now for 6 years. This van I've got attracts people everywhere, no matter where I go. People are beautiful but they knock on the window if you are sleeping in the day or night. I try to hide everywhere I go just to have some space. I am a very private person, if I am in my van, it's my time, if I am outside in a chair chilling, I will say hello. One young man was cursing me, bc I was doing my taxes, papers everywhere, freezing cold outside and I said hello as he came to my window but he stopped talking and so I continued working and he cursed me out, cursing all the way back to his truck, he was tripping pretty insane and that is just what I don't want around me. It has gotten to the point that I started patch painting specific parts of my van so it's not so darn cool and everyone wants to walk up on me. I don't know them and I am one of the most kind and loving people around. I would be the first person to help anyone but don't curse me out bc I don't know you and I don't open up my van to everyone, it's my home , my privacy. Anyway your property is looking great, I am glad you guys got some good rain and it is beautiful goose, is happy and protecting her home and babies, that is her space and she is saying you are not invited in my space keep your mitts out of my space. 🤣😂😂 ✌️🙏❤️🕯️🎈🌻😊
