I feel like in this AU , he’d only been acting nice in the show , hiding the fact he’s evil , and when in spongehenge (where they were all mean to him , thinking he was just stupid and all that) he had enough of their rudeness and bullying(because there are several characters in cannon who sorta bully him.) and he’s decided he’d take over bakini bottom, but still putting up his “nice guy” act he trick them into thinking he’d help them chase their dreams or their wants.(in this animatic). But in the end he’d show his true colors. And another thing , he’s basically invincible , he’s been punched a lot and never even gotten injured and many other things, he’s just gonna regenerate or put himself back together. Which makes this AU pretty interesting. Also it’s funny cause the guy who voices him (Tom Kenny I think) voices commander peepers from wander over yonder- Nice AU btw , this was just a theory I had. ^^

I remember when I was watching old seasons of SpongeBob, there was an episode where Neptune wanted to take Sponge as his personal chef. what if he agreed? imagine, because of such delicious food, Neptune gave him a magic Spatula, and also a lot of privileges, and this power corrupted him (SpongeBob)

if you think a little, maybe the reason for making SpongeBob like this is that when he was in Plankton's lab, plankton accidentally threw one of the special enzymes for feelings on him, which made SpongeBob's feelings like a normal person and not like his innocent and kind personality.When he returned to work at the restaurant, he began to have ideas to make the business more efficient and more profitable, but because Mr. Krabs is stingy, he did not accept Bob's infidelity, which made him a usurper, which made him go to Plankton and they form a secret partnership.Together they achieve great success, but because SpongeBob (let's say that little Bob's true feelings are still inside him, but he prefers to convey them through actions rather than words) is more interested in money, so he expelled Plankton.From the partnership and became the president of the new company.The reason for his magical ability is that he may have returned to Atlantis somehow and learned their technology, which gave him more abilities.

SpongeBob gets fired from krusty crap and then decides to start his own restaurant and of course it starts out good but it's just average just a restaurant people take while they mile away from krusty crab and while krusty crab is the most popular restaurant so while SpongeBob depressed he then finds a spatula that's actually a cursed artifact that flying douchman ( was that how you spell it forgot how to that green ghost ) dropped and then influence SpongeBob into making the F.U.N bucket a place whear you get anything you want at start but soon you turn braindead and become his servants or it's some pyramid scheme just my headcannon sorry if bothering
