TUA and this offense is going into the third year in this complicated scheme. Armstead said it took him a year and a half to learn. Continuity is huge. If they can stay healthy down the stretch that offensive line I believe they will be physical as any other team
@mroverdose147 ай бұрын
The crazy part is if you put another QB behind this offense Solana would call them best offensive talent since Hill with the chiefs. Fans are clouded by love Solana by his poor evaluation evaluation of talent at the QB position.

He’s not wrong though because the QB is holding the offense back with his limited skill set
@mroverdose147 ай бұрын
@@TheRedsox040711 See this is false cause we seen Miami with other QBs and we are significantly worse even before McDaniel got here without to Tua. I am not calling Tua all world but to say he is "holding us back" is blatantly flawed logic.
@TheRedsox0407117 ай бұрын
@@mroverdose14 so can Tua make basic throws outside the numbers, extend plays when the protection breaks down or actually work through his progressions? No, he really doesn’t do any of those. The reason he’s so successful is that the offensive plan is to get the ball outta his hands as quickly as possible, his decision is made pre snap where he’s going with it. Did you ever notice that the majority of Tua’s INTs have people going “but why would you throw that? It was never open.” It’s because it was predetermined. He isn’t processing anything, he’s timing the play and throwing it to where the WR should be by that time.
@mroverdose147 ай бұрын
@@TheRedsox040711 do you watch film or spout stupid shit from those that never wore the uniform. Yes! He does go thur multiple progressions, yes he CAN throw outside the Numbers (not his strongest throw but turn on the bears film from 2022) My God, off platform throws? Chargers 2023, Ravens 2022, Giants 2023, Jets 2021-23, etc. yes these aren't his strengths but he has done all of what you are asking and don't it at a high level. Don't pretend to know what you are talking about to someone INFINITELY more versed in the breakdown in football. He's not a perfect prospect. He'll miss reads (rarely), late on throws, lack arm strength to drive out breaking throws CONSISTENTLY (has done it), and loses a lot of strength on balls when not in rhythm. Most QBs many can't even play in structure. People fall in love with Lamar but the dude struggles when he has to play from the pocket. Mahomes the best QB had to learn to win from the pocket and not try to win it all on one throw. I mean Allen who I think is the second or third best QB struggles when pressured or has to throw a ball to WRs that didn't win in the route (Tua weaknesses) So don't come to me with these weak arguments cause you not watching the film at a high level.
@mroverdose147 ай бұрын
@@TheRedsox040711 You want to see his processing? Go to the Lions game 2022 when he goes through at least 4 reads to find his TE. You don't know what you are freaking talking about. You have to be kidding me. I played ball for 8 years and coached 4 more so I'm not some random fan talking about what I see. Go watch the games I cited before you say something even dumber

Tua leading the league in passing is such a misleading stat. What were his splits for above 500 teams and below 500 teams? Well he averaged 223 YPG, 1 TD and 1 INT vs above 500 teams and 293 YPG, 2 TDs and .8 INTs against below 500 teams. Tua was a stat padder against crap teams.

@@GuccVarucc lol no they aren’t a lie. Last year Tua threw for 1300 yards, 7 TDs and 7 INTs in 7 games (including the playoffs) against above 500 teams. He also threw for 3300 yards, 22 TDs and 7 INTs in 11 games against below 500 teams. Feel free to look it up yourself. Tua is a stat padding bum against below 500 teams and then disappears against above 500 teams. How about this one, Tua had 0 300 yd games against above 500 teams last year but also had 2 games under 200 yards. Meanwhile he had 8 games of 300+ yards against below 500 teams.

Mahomes averaged 240 YPG, 1.6 TDs and .2 INTs against above 500 teams. And he won his 3rd super bowl so he’s miles ahead of Tua. Lamar isn’t a known passing QB but his stats were: 249 YPG, 2.1 TDs per game and .5 INTs per game. Again miles ahead of Tua

Miami is faster than NASA that's great woowee ya. Doesn't mean anything if you don't have the dogs up front. There are two high-profile offensive linemen out there. Miami got to sign one of them. Dalton Reiser is a free agent again. 2 years in a row. brother is underrated and did not allow a sack last year. Game of inches wins in the trenches. In December if this offensive line can somehow stay healthy. They will be one of the most explosive teams. Just to think injuries held A-Train back from competing for most yards in a year.

Dolphins were doing good in the beginning of the season before Wynn Williams and Hunt all three got injured, that was the big difference in us being good. So Hunt is gone Connor Williams is very questionable and Wynn is a perineal injury history. I assume we have a decent starter at center but who replaces Hunt and Wynn because we have to assume that Wynn is going to be out for the season at an early date.
