@Euphonicmusicschool7 ай бұрын
Great guest! Emory is the first person I’ve seen say what I think the role for the Washington Brothers is going to be. When Hill and waddle sub out, which is more frequently than most people think, you have a guy coming in that’s every bit as fast. They can be running deep go, crossing, etc. routes and absolutely gas the DBs. The safety will more than likely have to come over and help, and if they’re not open themselves, there’s a ton of space underneath for Jonah, Odell, and the running backs to feast in open space. The same kind of goes for drafting Wright. All three running backs are insanely fast, homerun hitters, can catch out of the backfield, and Wright is supposedly good at pass protection. I also hope they run a lot of two HB sets. I can think of a boatload of things you could do with that alignment.

Are you trying to say The Washington Bros are just as fast as Hill and Waddle? Lmfao. Get your head checked bro.

If you look at Miami's Roster at RB, they had Achane and aging Mostert and Wilson, Mostert and Achane were banged up last season and missed games, Wright makes it possible to keep the Offense the same, if injuries happen, so yes Omar, RB was a need.

I wouldn't say that's a need . That can really apply to any player

@@John-q5y6o It wouldn’t have required a 2nd for moving down 2 picks. Even if it did, a solid edge pocket collapser is better than the 2 reaches we just picked up. Neither player moves the needle. Grier special.

I have to say I stopped listening to the Omar podcast with the other guy after half the season he was unbearable. By “he” I mean the other guy was just annoying. Omar is shining on his own and when him and Barry get together discussing the Fins, no one better locally covering the Fins like them. This was such a solid interview would love to see Emory on here again.

Ol was our biggest problem last year and we lost og Hunt and haven't got anyone to replace him, so we need to try to get a starter for that position. We should have drafted either og Christian Mahogany or c Limmer who could have switched to og or even dl Christian Boyd who was also available at pick 198 . We could have gotten either of those 3 at pick 198 but at least we got a safety and I hope he turns out to be good. But he was not really highly ranked but the other 3 were big steals and were our biggest positions of need yet we didn't jump on them. This is baffling to me and makes me wonder if they realize especially at guard how we are in a very desperate situation and either Limmer or Mahogany were probably starting caliber prayers and we are only playing backup's at starting role. This is exactly what destroyed the Dolphins last year because our ol was doing really well until perennial injury proned Isaiah Wynn was out for the season after 7 games and instead of seeking a starter who was available we rolled with a backup and so we had a weak link that caused a chain reaction and shortly thereafter Connor Williams was out too for the season and then after that instead of trying to get an available starter we went with having two backups playing which led to Robert Hunt also getting hurt for the reminder of the season and still they refused to aquire a legitimate starter who was available they opted to roll with 3 backups playing at the two guard positions and at center.
@richardoconnor80087 ай бұрын
Prime example of size not mattering is Zach Thomas , its the size of the fight in the dog not the size of the dog, also all this talk about going against NFL caliber players, they are all NFL caliber , they were all college players at one point , they are here for a reason ...most of the time lol, You dont move him to Guard cause youll take much needed LT reps that are far more important for the future
@markfowler78157 ай бұрын
Dalton Risner og was who the Dolphins should have acquired last year after our guard went out last year and a backup player probably led to Robert Hunt and Connor Williams getting hurt as well and even with missing two interior linemen we refused to get Dalton Risner og who was still available at the time until finally Minnesota got him and he went on to do a good job and we lost Robert Hunt due to having to work next to two incompetent backups and we were then Left with 3 backups on our interior line and still didn't try to get at least one if not more replacements. Everyone was screaming at the Dolphins to just get Dalton Risner but it fell on deft ears. This shows a gross lack of incompetence on the part of the Miami Dolphins who seem to just not get it and are stuck on stupid . And can't make the key decisions at critical junctures. But I truly believe that before the season starts the Dolphins are going to do something about addressing the og situation. After the final cuts someone of high quality should be available who we will get.

He’s not as athletic as Laremy Tunsil, and he’s too slow out of stance to play guard in the scheme the Dolphins run where you need guards who great at pulling and moving.

Yes it was especially because of our two injuries at that position. All 5 if our edges can rotate throughout the season let our injured returning prayers get some extra rest while going through the healing process.
@markfowler78157 ай бұрын
If we didn't have the two injuries on the edge it would have been nice to get Graham Barton og but since we had the injuries we were more or less forced to have to get Chop Robinson at that point and we were really lucky too to get another great edge later in the draft who should have not still been there

@@markfowler7815 I wish I had as positive of perspective as you, however the truth that I see is that lack of production he had was very alarming, many want to compare his production to Parson’s (also went to Penn State) but looking at Parson’s production in college vs Robinson’s, Parsons was leap years beyond Robinson even though Parson’s only had 6.5 sacks in college.
@emrs60057 ай бұрын
@@markfowler7815on the surface it “looks” like a smart pick, but the truth of the matter is that it was bad choice of a player based on the scheme the team runs…. Should have gone with either Worthy at 21 or the Olineman Jordan or Barton.
