🚛. Not GNH, but GEH this time! Used wheel loader being hauled westbound on Great Eastern Highway.

Caught up to this heay oversize, at 5.5 mtrs wide. As they were heading towards Perth, on Tuesday 23 April 2024.
Charles Hull Contracting, Mack Titan tri - drive. With their home base depot, in Waroona.
The wheel loader, CAT 992. Is on a 11 lines platform float.
There's an amazing number of bridge crossings, along Great Eastern Highway, in this area, on the north side of Northam town.
I think, something like 12? In about 9 kms distance. Crazy for lead pilots, having to call in over the radio, if escorting a heavy oversize
Naming the bridge, for the compulsory 10 kmph travel speed restriction of the truck in their convoy. Which is then officially closed down to all traffic.

But, soon as there is a chance, following traffic are allowed to overtake.
After passing this one, I'm at the overtaking lanes, on GEH. Just out of Northam town. Catching them climbing up the hill. A friendly wave from the Mack driver.🙂

Another huge machine is on the move. Charles Hull's fleet is a real mish-mash, a bunch of second hand trucks. Do you know what is that strange trailer at 3:31? There's even an oversize sign on it. Very fine catch Terry and nice chase too.

Thanks Zsolti. Yes, that machine, is part of a set up, Ciber Inova. That mixes asphalt, I've not seen one before! All new. And yes, Charles Hull Contracting, certainly has a variety of trucks, in their fleet! Have a wonderful weekend, Zsolti.🙂

Not a mish mash really,99% Macks and a lot of them,one of the biggest fleets of heavy haulage in the state.
