Hey Uni X TCG Nhattylite here. You’re going to be really disappointed with my answer but the only reason I picked SS4 was because he’s my favorite character. I decided on it once the leader got revealed and just grinded with it since. As for why I didn’t play the Pan, I just couldn’t find room for it. I do plan to change the deck list a bit and might try her out in the future. As for the double striker, I just don’t think he’s that good. I always rather play the SCR for four or the double striker Bardock for its KO effect.

I agree with the 4 cost double striker. I’d rather play the SCR, Bardock DS, 3 drop Bardock with leader ability, etc.

The gotenks actually improves the droid matchup a lot, since its the only answer to Nappa in both the play and draw while also putting pressure which you want against droid. Sickle is not bad but paying 3 energy and passing turn is not something I feel you wanna do in this meta. Like for example in the draw, your will ideally swing 5 times and your opp must protect twice to play their nappa, and if they do you have 3 energy for the gotenks play and the game is basically over. In the play they can play Nappa much safer in their second turn, Gotenks again allows you to answer while also pressuring, if you are in the play and dont answer Nappa, you just lose the game in the spot (Mai plus Goten also does the trick, then you play Maroon, thats not as good but allows you to stay in the game). Gotenks also is good in the mirror since if you are in the play, allows you to not eat shit against the Gohan 4C on their third turn with the marker. I think its solid and the 35k does matter sometimes against droids or general 30k that are in this meta.

Whats up Uni. Curious your thoughts on the first Bardock deck not having any copies of Kakarot. I see the obvious disadvantage is not being able to get ahead when going first and hitting your curve. As a top 16 deck, it obviously worked for the player. Do you see any advantages to cutting those out of a deck and being competitive consistently?

Personally, I do not like it. Kakarot allows someone to give you first, and you reap ALL the benefits. Play Kakarot and then BAM! You lost nothing. The player in question............. that's a whole nother subject I may never touch on unless it becomes super relevant!

For the Goku GT leader, I guess it's because applying its leader ability to the 3c Bardock is super good.
