This is more likely a set that will increase over time. It has popular trainers like Iono, Lillie, Marnie, and N. It is also the start of a newer era sort of like Brilliant Stars and Tag Team. Supply may be high now but it will go up over time. This set definitely is more catered to the competitors since rotation will happen when the set releases and there are tons of pretty competitive cards.

@PokeBull24 a good tip, it is a good idea to keep an eye on the competitive market. It is more short term than investing but it helps understand the market and who the creators are targeting or their decisions. Not every set has to be a "banger" for collectors and it is also bad for the health of the game if the competitive cards are inaccessible. Competitive, investing, and collectors markets go hand in hand and influence each other. The competitive keeps the game alive, the collectors help with sales, and the investors help post-printing/post-rotation. In Japan, they can have tournaments with 6-10k people playing. In the US we are having tournaments with 2k plus people playing which are historic numbers.

@@Blahblah-oo7lk Thanks for the info! Yeah I'm slowly getting more informed on the competitive and singles market. I'll see videos mentioning the impact competition has on the market every now and then but still have a lot to learn!
