You missed the best gun. The Advanced Kodoma is on the counter below the weapon rack in his office. If you save scam it will generate legendary advanced weapons. Gautenteed. I've snagged advance inflictors, orions, magpulses, beowulfs. But the base advanced Kodoma is all you really need in this game....WHICH YOU MISSED!!!

My new Let's Play character just went to Vlad's Villa at level 7, a great early game stop for the first advanced weapons. I got an advanced Shooty, an advanced Orion, and the Mutineer and Kodama.

I've been there, but still you get high marks for keeping player's continually informed. You're also right that we don't all play Starfield the same way. I like experimenting...even if it breaks the game, so I'm currently running without any Constellation crew communication. I just want to see what will happen when I inevitably talk to them. I don't even care about being a Starborn.

The weapon racks are rng but advanced is a high chance. Git my adv legendary beiwolf out of the round weapon rack & a adv leg breach in the square one at level.9 current plauthru.

This is one I will have to disagree on. I can save scum the crap out of vlads villa and get a weapon I’d like instead of jumping around on a planet to find a muybridge or abandoned mine. That way I have around 3 to 4 advanced weapons because you did miss the advanced kodama, some ammo and a few med packs to start my journey

I picked up that quest normally doing the main story mission at game launch as I never bothered to do anything NG+. I knew you can get a weapon there. However, I’ve still never really gotten around to it at lvl 121. I haven’t really played much in 8+ months and only just started again to play with the recent update. For me, I’ve got every bit of Advance Weaponry in the game with the only variations the RNG weapon buffs. Visiting Vlads Villa for me is just game adventure which it should be. But from my point of view, it’s not a Secret Location. Though I do understand how you call it that because so many played the game and never picked up the quest normally as part of main story quest.

Vlad's Villa is a newbie must I think. Goes with doing the storyline - after that whether NG+ or a new character it's just a waste of time - it's stealing your time away finding better loot as Dean described.

Plus they have Vlad ask you to turn off the lights for him and then they don’t put a switch or mechanic to do it!! Wasted opportunity and crap space adept weapon! I HATE space adept. Alongside full auto no less. Ammo guzzling piece of crap.

I get through tutorial... Then beeline for syndicate enforcer. Kill everyone there... Take contraband... Sell what I don't want or need... Then use only that wakizashi unless I get a better legendary.

You can land pick a lock run upstairs in about 2 minutes...so I'm not sure how it's not worth the time.

On the second run at Vlads the Mutineer was 37 points lower (185) on damage as the first one was 222 dmg. The add ons and perk were the same though. That seems odd.

Yes. Vlad's Villa is one of my first stops when I NG+ to get his weapons and ammo. It's free and easy so why not? Just be sure to bring a couple or so digipicks with you.

Hmm the first time you grabbed that pistol at Vlads it was 222 damage, the second time it was 185 damage. That would be annoying. Also you said it was fully automatic? If it's 222 damage fully automatic wouldn't it have an insane hit rate? An auto Kodama with 60 or 70 damage melts the bad guys, this would do even more. Anyhow my character is currently sitting in a facility on Masada waiting for me to return so see you on your next post.

I can confirm that the guns build changes like the weapon racks. SS from orbit is an option to get what you want.

With the Advanced Kodoma from Vlads, you could just kill the enemies on Masada, and not have to sneak around...🤷

Yes, I'm level 35 now (3rd-4th playthru) and the advanced kodama is still killing it, and is my go-to "bail my ass out of trouble" gun right now. Finally scored a Hard Target so branching out toward long-range combat. Kodama was also probably the quickest way to organically level rifle/ranged weapon challenges.

@dkindig if you have a decent serviceable weapon to start, you can put your skill points twords weapon and suit mods. I like to be able to customize my guns and suits asap before I buff combat skills. I'll throw a point or 2 into ballistics and rifles if the opportunity presents itself.

Masada is good for Claymore farming, but I'd rather go to Celebrai for the better factions as they have Spacers and Varuun more than the Ecliptic. Bosses are mainly 94s, but they still drop good stuff. And it's just above Kryx. Good place to find your first particle weapon.

so, what exactly is "secret" about Vlads villa? Vlad tells you to go there early in the story, there is nothing secret about this. The clickbait is strong in this one friend and the only good reason to go there is to have the Activity done when your inner completionist demands... When you do this on a higher level, the weapons at least sell for good credits.

It technically is a secret because a lot of people miss it. And it's a unique POI location. Also you can make a glitched outpost there.

You don't need an invitation to go either. So you can make it your first stop to get the Advanced Kodoma and the Advanced Magshot. Available at level 2. There is a 2% commerce discount magazine, ammo, 5 digipics, lots of alcohol and some food. Lots of cool decor if you want to snaz up your ship. All at level 2. Gotta pick an advanced lock.

Also the guns on the racks. I've gotten an Advanced Starshard in his bedroom, but usually it's crap up there.
